Black shoots at Ice Elemental with Small Bomb, dealing over 8 damage

Without bothering to read the note, Sarabas stepped on it with an unremarkable boot and rubbed it thoroughly against the floor with the sole. “Lidar, I understand that living with dementia is not easy, but isn’t it time to use those brain cells that are still left in this old body? First of all, who was that highly intelligent smart aleck who showed the naive fool the way to the cult, and at the same time, from his lofty position, did not provide detailed information? Could it be him?” – He points a finger at one of the skulls. “Or him?” – And at another. “Secondly, who is the most important person in our clan, the one who is responsible for the general safety and well-being, as well as for preserving and increasing knowledge? Is it Sarabas Nevereverland? No!” – This time he pokes his interlocutor with his finger. “It's you, old senile man. And the fact that a person can be robbed and almost killed in broad daylight is due to your incompetence and carelessness. As long as the status quo is maintained, nothing else matters, right? You only woke up when the dirt surfaced. And thirdly, even now, you assign me – the victim of the incident – this task because of some petty, stupid reason, perfectly understanding that I am not the most suitable person to carry it out, just to ‘punish’ me – for what, by the way, is unclear – and once again demonstrate your authority, which, judging by practice, is clearly not deserved through charisma or effective leadership. And as long as these games continue, someone else among our brethren may also suffer. You need to immediately give up your position to someone more adequate; otherwise, our entire clan will inevitably collapse into the abyss of ignorance and stupidity.”

Did Sarabos still manage to increase the snake to the desired size? A:

Lerad’s patience snapped. It burst with an explosion worthy of the demise of distant stars. “Is that so? And have you thought about it…” said the first sage with a smirk. “Why did I send you to Renardo? The fact that you are alive and received the elixir is incredible luck. Other troublemakers from our Clans were less fortunate. Some of them are still on my shelf. You know, I hate those who interfere in things that don't concern them and undermine the already fragile foundations of society. People like you, Sarabas Nevereverland. Guards!” Two strong warrior-scholars rushed into the room. They seemed to have been here all along. “Sarabas Nevereverland abused knowledge, spread distorted history, and gave alchemists a dangerous elixir. For this, I sentence him to death. Execute immediately!” The guards nodded briefly at each other and rushed towards Sarabas.

Who will feed the fox?

- Ha-ha-ha, Lerad Frosty! You are the most insecure and pathetic loser in the universe! Someone who cannot prove their point either with words or deeds is just a little liar and coward! From this moment on, I shall call you Lerad Barely Warm.

Did Sarabas actually increase the snake to the desired size after all? O:

More likely he increased the size of the snake's eggs.

Eggs are eggs, but what matters is the thickness and hardness of the snake itself.

Sarabas finds himself in the middle of a chthonic forest, cut to pieces and with his bare backside exposed...

The alchemists didn’t plan on expanding their laboratory's inventory yet.

Since Aristarchus had nothing special to do, he decided to go to the library.

So, you can no longer read anything in the library now?

It will arrive.

You can't. But you can take the book with you. The main thing is to return it before the expedition begins, and that definitely won't be today.

Not a single Rat Ogre has ever missed. So that's what this "will of flesh" thing is about...

Coming.

- Would you accept this book for safekeeping? - he asks a random librarian.
- It's a gift from my teacher. I’ve already read it myself, and somehow I think it will be safer here than in my pocket…

No, we can't. But you can take the book with you. The main thing is to return it before the expedition begins, and it definitely won't be today.

And when? I could go somewhere instead of just waiting around…

We should have gone with Ferda. This didn't turn out well.
