Ida's enthusiasm was something to behold. She wanted to dissect three corpses from two!
"Really?"
It’s unlikely that the unflappable Mahra could be fazed by any of Ida's questions.
— I'm worried about the expedition we're going on tomorrow. There are two things bothering me. First, we're heading towards the chthonic forest, and after our recent adventure in the caves, I'm afraid my mind might be affected. Second, I'm concerned about my complete physical defenselessness. The warriors have strength and weapons. You throw bombs brilliantly. Master Uthar... there's even no need to talk about him; while he's conscious, he's the coolest warrior I've ever seen. And what about me? I can't even withstand a blow from a dead needleclaw.
The girl complained that she was anxious because she had no weapons or decent potions to defend herself:
— If I take up a saber, I'll fall along with it. I'd like to learn how to throw bombs, but right now, with my "skill," they'll probably explode in my hand before I can do anything. Even if they shouldn't. Imagine what will happen if a monster attacks me? Or if the chthonic forest takes control of everyone except me? Or vice versa, it zombifies me, and I rush headlong into the forest. In short, one scenario is worse than the other.
Ida paused for a moment.
— I don't have any weapons, armor, or even potions that could save my life or drastically change the course of battle. Right now, I'm just walking meat. I want it to be different. Can you help me fix this?
The girl literally meant: “Can I get some light weapon, armor, or potion?” Even a dose of healing potion would be welcome.
Also, Ida noted that there was a misunderstanding between them. She wanted to assist with the last body. But not cut it herself, because her hands hurt a lot after the needleclaw. And also because the GM doesn't allow it.
