🍁Nine Ancient Obelisks Auto-translated

"Well, since you've found out all this information, let's get started... And I'd rather find out about everyone at once; we have enough unknowns as it is."

Spending 9 Action Points? - He could have asked Bak if he were a GM, but he wasn't.

"Are there any boots that offer protection against this type of terrain? Alternatively, um, levitation magic or something similar?"

- Yes, ordinary anti-desert boots will do. They aren't sold in Ruzianel, though. As for magic, I don't know.

"Hmm... Do you happen to have a contact for a master craftsman or enchanter who could quickly create some agility-boosting equipment?"

- Unfortunately! Many of my contacts are now only interested in fresh brains, or not interested in anything at all, if you know what I mean... I know craftsmen from other cities, but I don't know if they would take on such a job.

"What is meant by negative effects? Just the standard poison and bleeding?"

- Yes, that's right. What else comes to mind?

Spending 9 Action Points? - I could have asked Bak if I were the GM, but he wasn't.

I'm spending them. - replied player Asmidula.

- Alas! Many of my contacts are now only interested in fresh brains, or not interested in anything at all, if you understand what I mean... I know masters from other cities, but whether they will take on such a job is another question.

- It would also be useful to find out from other cities... There are still three days left, after all. Maybe we can come to an agreement.

- Yeah, right. What else comes to mind?

- I probably confused it with negative effects. That is, all sorts of zombification, regular damage, and so on...

Need to finish the battle tomorrow.

Spending.

I'll post it later.

—It would also be useful to find out from other cities... There are still three days left, after all. Maybe we can manage to negotiate.

- In Faris there's Novzar. A man of few words with biting prices, but the work is quality and fast. Not picky. In Mufigur - Jingo, the best blacksmith in the country, but only Shiris knows his pricing. He only takes on what interests him.

—I probably confused it with negative effects. That is, any zombification, regular damage, and so on...

- Zombification won't work on her either, and damage... Well, she's like a reed - she'll fall over from a breath of wind, so we also need to protect her.

Well, or we can not finish it off.

In general, with battles like this, 100% of the mechanics need to be overhauled, and I don't have any mood left to roleplay anyway - forced answers won't bring anyone any fun. I had a thought after the obelisks of earth and darkness to quickly finish off all the rest too, thus cutting out 80% of what was planned, in other words doing everything half-heartedly just for the sake of ticking a box, but that's not really cool, rather anti-cool, so I won't. Someday later, if there's still demand, I'll continue and make it even better than before. Speaking of continuing - I didn't expect at all that after a three-month pause I'd manage to get back into it. Here I should thank Loken for terrorizing me on Skype (💀) with this question the whole time, and one VN I read - there, too, the guys were enthusiastically working on a game together.

In case I lose the file, Atim's future record (if he survives the battle):

To Alex, Astral, Heroist, and Loken (I sorted the names alphabetically so no one thinks I singled anyone out first!) my great gratitude for the active and immersive play, as well as apologies for yet another pause - I'd like it not to be the end, but time will tell. Still saddened that Frag and Ment didn't play.

If this expansion pack gets a second chance, it will truly become the most undead-themed expansion in history, where the quest giver is undead, the characters are immortal because they contain a piece of a dead person's soul, undead play an important role among the story's antagonists, and most importantly... the expansion itself dies and is resurrected from the dead several times!

*placed a basket of poisoned fruits on the experience point grave*

What is dead may never die.

Hold on, don't bury the expansion just yet. I haven't even finished writing my "Necropolis" post. I'll get to it as soon as I finish writing...

Bury it back.

We want it and we're digging it up.

I remember there was a case like that, but I don't remember where, maybe even in my city. Two guys raped and killed a woman, and they buried the body. After that, they came back several more times on different days, dug up the body, and raped it again. Unfortunately, I can't find the news article about it.

Most likely, this happened in some expansion pack, and those two are definitely characters from Astral...
