🍁Nine Ancient Obelisks Auto-translated

Cowards and traitors inhabited locations of the "shop" type in most of Asuguh's cities. Although, wait... the opposite is true! They did NOT inhabit them!

“Art is no longer what it used to be,” Kamistella whispered to Erishu. “When war comes, everything changes. Cultural stagnation begins, or even worse, degradation.”

The Lunarian and her bodyguard head to the Adventurers' Guild.

After getting some rest, Erika filled out her diary and headed to the transport station with the intention of visiting Sugar...

Erika travels to Sugar and gets caught in a time loop... Since the state of the city before the completion of mission 69 remains unknown.

Red Flag 2

Well, that means there’s a chance the town will survive after all, and the mission will be a success!

Well, that means there's a chance the town will survive, and the mission will be a success!

But it's still an expedition to Shina, so what does Sugar have to do with it? But since the state of the town the next day is unknown, it means everyone died, and the Calcite forces launched a counterattack.

—Specialists... That's a problem. Are there any? Besides the clerics of Anuzish, nothing comes to mind... —he thoughtfully pulled a thorn from the sole of his shoe and tossed it into the bushes. —And what about this atmosphere? Maybe it will be easier to find suitable help in Asahina?

- The quality and type of potential assistance will largely depend on your status in Asahina, and the atmosphere is a miasma that corrodes the body and soul of anyone who dares to set foot on this cursed land.
Any minute now, the autodilijance will pass by the road to the Temple of Mirrors.

Erica heads to Sugar and gets caught in a time loop... as the state of the city before the completion of mission 69 remains unknown.

On her way to Sugar, Erica carefully monitors the situation on the road and in the sky, and if there is any "activity," she is ready to turn towards Faris or return...

—Miasma, huh… It feels like I’ve encountered this term in a past life, and it never promised anything good. —“If only some fragment could reveal some hidden useful properties.” —..Earn status by completing various tasks to unlock this location and gain additional support for its completion. Well, there was still an expedition to Shina, so what does Suggar have to do with it? But since the city's condition the next day is unknown, it means everyone died, and the Calcite people launched a counterattack.

🐱🐲: The Harranians took advantage of the materials kindly left outside the walls to build new units and started attacking the city.
⛓️♿: Don't give it away.
🎪🏹: You're so mean.
🐱🐲: 😈

- Sure, it will be awesome.

Asmidul and Shiki get off the autodilijans and head to kill the king on the orders of the Harranians or Calcites towards the temple. At its doors, they see two faces: one familiar - Ikusi Sizki, and another unfamiliar - a solid and very strong-looking brunette with golden eyes.

Asmidul and Shiki get off the autodilijans and head towards the Temple, where they are supposed to kill the king on the orders of the Harranians or Calciteans. At the entrance, they see two faces: one familiar – Ikusi Sizki, and another unfamiliar – a solid-looking, very strong brunette with golden eyes.

—Well, we’re here, and we still have time for coffee. I don’t know what kind of negotiations you’re having, but it’s not something you’d entrust to just anyone. But anyway, good luck! And thank you for the good advice. I promise to remember it well. —He extends his hand to the samurai in farewell.

He then walks towards the entrance, respectfully nodding first to the king’s daughter, and then to the unknown, but probably equally important gentleman, waiting for his turn to speak:
—Your Highness, I am glad to see you in good health. Allow me to express my personal admiration for your heroic support in the recent events in the capital. I have brought an important foreign guest, who has an appointment with His Majesty.

He politely steps aside, allowing the main characters of this episode to continue with their introductions and interactions.

We're heading to the obelisk... On the way we ran into some guy named Ferrous. Turns out he was also cursed by a knight. There was no time for long explanations, so we quickly refreshed his memory about the events of a year ago and dragged him along with us.
Somehow we made it to the place. The weather sucks. We're standing in front of the obelisk, and there's that same red-eyed fellow who "visited" me a year ago. He's also the "black knight." He's also some Sir Tann from some Nefria or other.
Then it gets more interesting... Linshi turned out not to be Linshi at all, but some Phantom of the Silver Moon. Isn't she the one selling stuff at the corresponding shop in Niniamat? I don't really feel like going back there anymore...
There was also another girl there named Aya. Apparently some acquaintance of Asmidul's.
"I want to visit all the obelisks," says Tann — "But they won't accept me, so you'll do it for me." Well, holy crap...
I didn't learn anything substantial about the obelisks beyond what I already knew from books. Except they did give me a more precise location for the obelisk of darkness in Barsin.
Then they just... vanished. But there is one upside to this story: the obelisk of fire gave my "bathhouse" a pretty nice "upgrade"...

Nothing special in Onkaih. Besides the administration and transport station, there's some kind of observatory, an erudition guild, as well as dwellings (5 of them) belonging to some people: Aiza, Deleza, Inaka, Lukona and Nitra. Nitra seems to be a water miracle worker. At least I don't know any other Nitras... Inak? Don't know, probably "that very one"... No shops, restaurants, etc. Sadness...
We head to the transport station. We duly find out that due to a raid from the north, transport is temporarily not running. Just great... We also met some Calcitan who was "going on" about Onkaih. He's gone now...
We go to the erudites' guild. Some guy there named Jalter Fonezog told us something about the city of Libertia in the land of Liberis. And he also said something about Mamonir. Then he teleported us to the capital. Fortunately successfully... Not like some Anlak or other... By the way, Anlak!!! I'd heard about him from Professor Peleng too. How could I have forgotten about him... Also, on the map Asmidul showed, I saw Anlak's Mine. I wonder what that thing is? There were also gates I already knew: Sushin, Ninug, Farksit and Excommunication. Plus unfamiliar places: House of Oaths, Noir Embassy, Fort Zulait, Illusory City, Adventurer's Refuge, and some strange spots: three numbered 1, 2, 3 and two marked with ???. But those aren't "that very shop" in the capital: one is outside the city, and the other is out in the desert (could that be that very headquarters I once read about?).

The capital is a complete mess. Shops are closed, the library isn't working... From a guard I learned that some Harran "sorties" are to blame. Some Zezilion Bakartados, apparently. He's gone now... Transport, at least, seems to be running. That's good.
At the port things are sad: ships are "on a leash"... Can't sail away and can't ride away. The "secret tunnel" to Calcitus, which Zibaba told us about, turns out to be destroyed too. There's no way out except through the "Southern Gates"...
Asmidul handed out his home address to everyone. Might come in handy.
We met Scar. He told us about his armor. Not everyone could carry such a thing. Certainly not the newly-minted "Calcitan king". So Ginza has the armor...

28.02.1001

Went to Mufigur. Nothing special there: Administration, Transport Station, Adventurers' Guild, Mufigur Arena, Jingo's Workshop and Quicksand.
The arena? Nah, forget it, one arena is enough for me for now... Jingo is apparently the one Scar and Zibaba talked about at the tournament. Sand? Nooo... Sand is beyond the gates, but here there's a very useful shop. The merchant says the goods are cheap, but no more than one item per face... Stocked up on useful "desert" gear.
At the guild I asked about the raid on the "Storm". Some guy (apparently one of the members) said the raid failed and advised me to find out the details in the capital...

Came home to Shingen. Opened the mailbox and... a Mushroom attacked me. No, it wasn't Jack and it wasn't Nebos, but some third one. Where did it come from? Is it that third one that stayed behind in the "Star"? Could someone have bought it before the shop disappeared? Or maybe its owner is somewhere nearby? Anyway, I had to defend myself, so that mushroom is no more. Before the end it managed to say it was some kind of scout and that its boss would definitely get me. What kind of "boss" that is and why the hell it wants me, alas, remains unknown...

Went to the mania of research. Same as a year ago, some strange sounds... I need to send Kamistella on reconnaissance with her charm...
Went to the guild. Today I was greeted by Belladonium Abazhur — a dark miracle worker. Had a chat with him, told him a bit about the incident in Shin...
Rode to Enlil. First stopped by Shinli's shop. To my surprise, I found out it's no longer a shop but a restaurant. Apparently filling in for the Good Manticore, which used to be in town and disappeared along with its owner Drudge. Nothing else to do: ate some potatoes with mushrooms... Yes, yes, not every mushroom is a sentient being. And not every seemingly sentient being is human! If Jack ever comes back, I'll offer him, should he wish, a taste of "man-flesh" — beyond the Sushin gates...
Stopped by Chara to see Shiza Sadame. A pair of boots would suit me, but they're men's and I don't have enough money anyway...
Next, off to Symphony of Happiness to see Letitia Lono. There's a nice dress, but no money...
Dropped by the farm. Tinaal Lodoss said that some jerk from Ruzaniel showed up and infected all the livestock. No milk!
Didn't go to the Enlil adventurers' guild — they wouldn't know anything about their "Storm" anyway...
Kamistella wasn't home, so I'm going to sleep at the administration building.

Remembering that Tann gets rid of "outsiders", Erika neatly wrote a word of caution on the cover for those wishing to rummage through other people's belongings:

Before reading this diary — think carefully!

Cowards and traitors inhabited locations like "shops" in most of Asuguh's cities. Although, wait... it's the opposite! They DIDN'T inhabit them!

– Art is no longer what it used to be, – Erisu Kamistella whispered. – War comes, and that's it. Cultural stagnation begins, or even worse, degradation.

The Lunarian and her bodyguard head to the Adventurers' Guild.

– Someone might say that war is also a form of art, – Eris shrugged, – but it will end someday. The inhabitants of our planet should not have rejected the peace promised by the beautiful Rinze, and then none of this would have happened.

The couple arrives at the Adventurers' Guild. There, members of the guild were bustling around, and Niska Banji was overseeing the processes.

– Well, come on, it'll be cool.

The passionate colleagues arrive at "Raven's Blood," but upon seeing Hisoka Shobul II's mask, he immediately refuses to serve him.
– Nope, I'm not getting involved with guys like that.

🎪🏹: We didn't write such things in our diaries. I remember, Nariah assigned me to kill some guy, I killed him, and in the diary I wrote that Nariah didn't assign me anything, and that I just "happened to pass by" the guy. ⛓️♿: I didn't write that I was a slave to Beata, because slavery was actually forbidden in Margel, and I didn't want her to have problems. 🎪🏹: You had secret pages hidden in the cover, and you wrote all sorts of things there. ⛓️♿: They were secret. And besides, it's not like I wanted to write them. 🐱🐲: Sorry, not sorry, I just had a sudden urge. But it turned out beautifully. ⛓️♿: You're mean, you're bad... 🎪🏹: In general, I would write something vaguely in the diary, just in case. You can't get away with simple "Whoever reads this is an idiot!" 🐱🐲: Well, that's not a fact. When Genzu was caught, they didn't even open his diary, otherwise they would have found everything. 🎪🏹: In any case, we did the right thing by taking our diaries out of Anuzish behind the fourth wall first, and then eating them! We have enough bio. ⛓️♿: For once, I agree with Beata's idiotic idea of eating the diary. And the bio... Yes, definitely. We also lied there so as not to reveal the fact of slavery 🤣 🎪🏹: Guyosha, you know that I have always loved and pitied you, and that you constantly suffered in my adventures... ⛓️♿: Well, there are reasons why I kept silent like a partisan, even though I could have betrayed you at any moment. You didn't forbid me to betray you. 🎪🏹: Because I trust you! 🐱🐲: No, because you're an idiot who didn't know that you became the source of the curse of Gion's imprisonment. 🎪🏹: We sorted it out, and I apologized!!! ⛓️♿: I confirm. After her apology, I had pain in places that are not discussed in polite society...
