It’s like some kind of epidemic; it’s as if there’s nowhere else to post.

I've never downloaded anything from Rapida – I always download from my regional FTP servers, and I'm happy with the selection there.

I downloaded it once, but I didn't like it at all.

Who came up with Rapidu and why? You can't stop it... And why can't you download from other sources? Rapidu is complete garbage!!!

You haven't heard of ADSL modems, have you? Use it to download from RapidShare as much as you want, so you don't have to wait. Just turn it off and on again, and you'll get a new IP address and a new server address. Basically, download as much as you can without waiting for 3 hours...
