Am I imagining things, or did they actually create a new soundtrack instead of reusing soundtracks from the original Heroes games?

Otherwise, nothing particularly interesting, the units are still somewhat ridiculous, but I like Gru among the heroes. Did they keep such a weapon of mass cuteness until the very end? Well done, I respect that.
The idea of replacing the classic demons with insectoids sounds cool, but the execution is terrible. Olgoi-horloi and Thacihis of Fate still look decent, although due to the plastic-like graphics, it's hard to make out anything. But the other bugs are just really bad. They look alike. And imagine people with poor eyesight playing the game, and they're like, "Hmm... I have 5 identical bugs..."
Yes, of course, it's not very good; you can come up with a much more diverse roster right away. They could have taken spider-like creatures for one tier, snake-fly creatures for another, some large, shiny rhinoceroses for yet another, a swarm of small creatures for the first tier, and humanoid xenodruids who summon the first tier... And make that very worm the champion of the faction, but make it fatter and more like Shai-Hulud. That's already five unique monsters, just out of nowhere, with zero imagination...
And the variations of centaurs, to be honest, I don't like either; it looks like a crude attempt to force lore onto someone's fetishes.
The beloved beasts of their Master, Mosquitoes were created to embody their two greatest qualities: expendability and abundant growth.
Mosquito, Tier 1
Mutated to serve as the infantry of the Hive, Mosquitoes are the remnants of giant flies that once roamed the Ironsand Desert. Fast and annoying, they perform the functions of scouts, distracting more important members of the Hive, and in large numbers, they form a devastating swarm.

Gronk the Fourteenth was born as the heir to a dwarven clan, but his life was anything but the strict upbringing expected of a future leader. His parents, blinded by their devotion to their child, obsessively shielded him from hardship. He never had to bear any burden. Servants dressed him, advisors spoke for him, and the very thought of discomfort vanished. While others were tempered in the forge of duty, Gronk remained soft, untouched by labor or expectation. By the time his parents died, leaving him the clan's legacy, he had neither the will nor the ability to wield it.
When the Song echoed through the Garrot Gorge, he heard the invitation—a promise of purpose without effort, a community that would serve him with knowledge, victories, and riches on a silver platter. Gronk sought a cocoon that would feel as comforting as before, the favor of the Hive Queens themselves. He was charmed, and they welcomed him with open arms.
But the Hive Queens do not love as humans or dwarves do. Their affection was a transformation. His body morphed into a larval form, his mind sharpened, allowing him to command even the most rebellious queens and their nests. Now, Gronk barely remembers who he was. He is little more than a pulsating mass carried by his beloved Hive Mother, twitching and gurgling with pleasure. And when he speaks, he murmurs: “Grunk! Grunk!”
Locust, Tier II
Locusts were once a rare sight in Jadame. This changed with the emergence of the Hive as a threat.
Locusts serve as the Hive's primary drones, tasked with delivering resources, constructing structures, and transporting the essence of those they have consumed for further use.
They would eat corpses and each other, and a portion would regenerate at the end of the battle thanks to the hero's ability "uncontrolled reproduction" (eternal servitude).
