It doesn't work for me. I launch it using DOSBox, select Sorceress, enter a name, difficulty level, then it asks me to enter something, some word, I enter it, press Enter - and I get a black screen:( both in DOS and Windows.

Ha!!! I downloaded the port to my smartphone, it's awesome! In Russian... I'll have something to do during breaks!;)

GUYS, can you believe it, I found a keygen in Russian, I can share it if anyone needs it...

Strangely enough, the game runs for me under XP SP1 without an emulator. But I'll provide instructions for the emulator.

Brief instructions for using the emulator.

1. Run dosbox.exe
2. In the window with the Z:\> prompt, enter commands.
3. First, copy the game to a separate directory, say c:\game.
4. Now you need to "make" this directory a separate drive. To do this, enter the command:

Mount "drive letter for the emulated drive" "real directory"
In our case:
mount x c:\game

A message will appear:
X mounted as local directory c:\game[br][/br]
5. Now you need to switch to this drive X (we are in DOS).

Enter the command to change the directory:
x:

The prompt will change to:
x:\>

6. All that remains is to run the game's executable file:
kb.exe


Changing the program speed:
ctrl + f11 - slow down the emulation
ctrl + f12 - speed up

The game didn't run without DosBox at home. With it, it launched in a small window. I had to create a batch file to play in full screen. IMHO, a masterpiece for 1990.

Downloaded Heroes 1. I'll be experimenting.

Indeed, a great game... 3DO did a good job... They probably didn't know it would be such a success :)
