https://vk.com/@-227082038-ilvariShe finally reached the Amelkiian plaza. It seemed a strange place for negotiations, but at the same time, choosing the very heart of the city was in Benjamin's style – a demonstration of his family's influence and the metaphorical crossroads at which Jadame found itself. The other delegates and their entourages were also present:
- The Templars were represented by Anastasia, also known to the common folk as "Gentle": she was a shy, delicate girl with luxurious blonde hair, braided so tightly that it resembled a golden snake slithering down her cloak;
- The Guild chose Una as their envoy – she was an old, lethally dangerous-looking witch, surrounded by what could be described as a shroud of sincerity and wisdom;
- The Fairies sent none other than Elder Tss'kish – a powerful and ancient dryad, whose knowledge spanned centuries, including secrets long lost since the Silence fell upon the world. He was assisted by a young faun named GingerTail, known for his frequent encounters with outsiders.
Ilvari's thoughts were interrupted by the roar of the host, echoing from beneath the center of the plaza:
"Welcome, my dear guests!" Benjamin Laudrin announced as the statue of the Dragon Queen opened, revealing a red-skinned elf who quickly emerged from its depths.
"Charming, as always," she thought. As he descended to the ground, Benjamin approached each group of envoys and greeted them in the manner customary in their lands: a bow with hands joined as if in prayer for the Templars, a magical symbol representing Nira for the undead, a heartfelt whistle for the fairy folk, and a gentle kiss on Ilvari's hand, followed by the elf's whisper, "Alvar Diruil," which is usually translated as "Peace to Alvar." After that, he returned to the statue and said:
"I would like to thank you all for arriving so quickly – my family and I are proud to welcome you and to show you the vision of the future that our beautiful city of Ravenshore represents," he continued. "However, the magnificence of House Laudrin is not the main concern of this summit. I will allow the true star to speak." As soon as these words left the elf's lips, all eyes turned to the young medusa. She glided to the statue, her mind filled with the message she carried.
"As you all know," she stated, "the threat we face is something we have never seen before on Jadame. It goes without saying that if we do not unite, everything and everyone we love will be lost. However, discord and disunity plague us, causing strife where there should be understanding. I believe that my words may be perceived as false enchantments cast upon you for the political interests of Alvar. That is why I asked the respected Laudrins to invite the only being on the continent who speaks not on behalf of rulers or on behalf of people, but on behalf of the Ancestors themselves."No one noticed when the Oracle – a slender, fully veiled, vaguely elven being, shrouded in complete mystery for most of the people living in Jadame – appeared next to Ilvari, along with the young medusa. Next to them was a mirror that shimmered softly with a blue glow, as if it were magically enchanted. And then the Oracle spoke.

“And so you have all come, as the prophecy foretold. We welcome you to this gathering, which has befallen us all. We shall allow each of you to speak here before this council, as it shall reveal your truth about what you wish to request.” The Oracle gestured towards Anastasia. “Speak, child, have you brought truth or strife? Is your Sun a beacon of hope, or a destructive flash of despair?” The young woman approached them, a small bird perched on her shoulder like a branch of a tree, her modest yet elegant dress trailing behind her on the stones. She greeted the Oracle and turned to the others, her voice trembling.https://vk.com/@-227082038-magiya-sveta
“Dear envoys,” Anastasia seemed even smaller as she spoke, “I am but a humble messenger. The Lords of the Dawn have asked me to convey their concerns and to plead on their behalf. I hope my message will be heard,” she paused for a moment and turned to the Oracle. “But before I share it, perhaps the others may also be presented? If it is not a problem, of course! I would not want to tire you, Your Eminence,” she murmured, looking at the figure with warmth and a strange serenity. If the Inquisitor’s appearance was a cause for concern, the gentle aura of Anastasia evoked a sense of contentment and happiness.
Ilvari could not shake the feeling that magic was involved, but she said nothing. Innocence should not be a cover for wondrous charms, even if it seems so. The Oracle spoke again.

“You may be young, but your heart seems to hold grace. There will be no harm in accepting your request. Come closer.” Then the Oracle beckoned Una forward. She looked fragile, but every step carried a sense of confidence and experience, a stark contrast to the priestess who stood before her. Ilvari could tell that the old witch had seen many things and knew many truths, but could conceal them at will if necessary. This time was no different from the perspective of someone as skilled in diplomacy as Ilvari. However, something seemed strange – Una seemed to be in pain.https://vk.com/@-227082038-magiya-nightshade
“The gesture of the young one is highly valued. Lady Lyra did well in choosing you. You show great promise.” Una’s overall presence caused unease among the other envoys, as if they were constantly resisting the urge to express their truest thoughts, so it was not surprising that her slightly patronizing words frightened the young woman, as if a needle had pierced her mind. Anastasia’s posture became more defensive, and her muscles tensed; everyone felt that the stakes had risen by a whole level. The Oracle looked at the witch and the priestess, saying nothing, but looking at them with disappointment. “Nightshade…” Ilvari intervened. “Dear envoys, please remain calm.”

“I am sure that Lady Una had good intentions. Allow me?” Ilvari touched both envoys and nodded to encourage them, her skin feeling as smooth as alabaster, her snakes reflecting the light on their iridescent scales, and her presence balanced them both – like a gentle, parental touch during a nightmare. Tiny, fresh traces of Nightshade’s magic could be felt in Anastasia, and a glimmer of holy dust shone on Una’s face – like small droplets of mercury, they were slowly poisoning each other. She focused on them and released. Immediately after that, the Oracle whispered something in a language long forgotten by others, and a flawless dome rose around the square.https://vk.com/@-227082038-misticheskaya-magiya
“Since imbalance threatens the gathering, I have erected a barrier that will hold the peace. If anyone outside – or inside – tries to interrupt your deliberations, they will not succeed.” The Oracle’s power was immense. Erecting such a barrier required forces that only a few in Jadame possessed. “Can they be vessels of the Ancestors?” Ilvari’s thoughts were interrupted by the Oracle’s speech.
“Your task may continue,” he said, his voice impassive, “Speak, young sprout. You have spent this time in quiet contemplation—a feat I do not recall.” Elder Tss’kish was a massive being, the tips of his crown gently brushing the apex of the Oracle’s dome, like the canopy of a forest beneath a tranquil sky. Very few Ents could reach his size, but few of them remained in the world long enough for it to happen. That he was called a sprout was amusing to Ilvari. The Elder’s steps lightly shook the ground as he approached the other emissaries with his retinue.https://vk.com/@-227082038-pervobytnaya-magiya
“Our Mycelium sings, my friend. It speaks of pain, sorrow, and nothingness. It has sent me to remind the sprouts of the consequences. I bring this song with me, that you may lend it your voice, old friend.” As the ancient Ent finished speaking, the Oracle placed a hand on his bark and began to sing, his body not his own, but rather an extension of something greater.
“A time of strife and sorrow shall follow the ‘Era of Shefar,’ and in this Era, all shall be turned to naught when the gates of chaos open in Enroth. And this shall be a sign to you—when the elemental forces of Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water roam freely through your lands, bringing death and destruction on their wings, you shall enter the final Era, the ‘Era of Cleansing.’ Once this Era begins, there shall be no salvation. For behold, the lords of Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water, they all give life and take it away. In times of strife, the cycle of destruction cannot be avoided, and your only solace will be death. However, in times of harmony, those who gather in alliance shall have the opportunity to weather the cleansing and prevent the end of the ‘Era of Shefar,’ and then enjoy a long era of peace.”

6th day
The silence in the square was deafening—any present could think that all sounds had suddenly disappeared from the dome in which they were. Ilvari looked around—Una, Anastasia, and Redtail had gone pale, understanding the meaning of the prophecy. Mr. Laudrin continued to smile carelessly, but it was clear to her that this was a mask hiding the panic in his eyes. Only the Oracle and the Ent remained calm and focused.https://vk.com/@oldenera-shestoi-den...oprosy-chast-2
“Your concerns are understandable, and I will not deny that a grim fate awaits us if we do not heed the warnings.” The Oracle remained as impassive as at the beginning of the council. Una and Ilvari nodded softly. However, not everyone could maintain the same composure.
“How can you expect us to talk about prophecies or peace when there are monsters among us?!” Anastasia trembled, her anxiety turning to anger.
“What do you want us to do, child—to cut each other up here and now, so that the entire continent plunges into chaos?” Una seemed displeased with the priestess. “You need to spend less time with that Frenzied Catalina and her calls for violence.” As the situation quickly escalated into endless arguments, Ilvari decided to take matters into her own hands.
“Esteemed envoys, now is not the time for philosophical debates. You may have differing views, but our goal is one. If we do not set aside our differences, we will have nothing to return to,” she continued, “Do you not both enjoy the merriment when your people—our people—participate in the festivities on the continent, whenever they may occur? Would you not wish for us to be able to focus on the beauty of the upcoming Equinox at one of the Jadamei markets? All of this will simply vanish in the flames of conflict if we allow emotions to cloud our judgment.”https://vk.com/oldenera?w=wall-227082038_3135
Ilvari’s words, imbued with a soothing cadence, ultimately proved true. Both the priestess and the sorceress looked at each other, then at her and the others, and stepped back, lost in thought. Seeing an opportunity to take control of the ongoing dispute, Ilvari continued.

“Furthermore, recent events on the continent have left our most esteemed minds utterly perplexed—they cannot fathom why the fauna is acting in this manner. Many of their schools have also been subjected to raids by insects, leading to even more speculation as to what these phenomena mean for the continent. My vassals in Alvara have decided to bolster the security of colleges, Temples, observatories, and universities, as it was initially believed that these were deliberate acts of sabotage, but the chaotic nature of these attacks makes it incredibly difficult to predict where this… hive will strike next. Reports also indicate that some scholars have gone missing—I am concerned for their whereabouts.”https://vk.com/oldenera?w=wall-227082038_3136
Ilvari surveyed the plaza, her snakes cautiously flicking their tongues, as if trying to gauge the impact her news had on the assembled envoys. It was a calculated move, as while everyone had different views and perspectives on philosophical and religious matters, no one wished to come to terms with the loss of brilliant minds who toiled diligently, using the little knowledge they could glean from the readings of the stars left by the Ancients. Surprisingly, Anastasia was the first to react.

Although there are countless examples. Take, for instance, the magic compilation from the event. It's bad. It's as if it was made by a kidnapped migrant worker from a construction site for a bowl of rice. I'm already too lazy to react every time, so I'm distancing myself from commenting on the content.
