— Why?!... Why are my children so inept, so incompetent, so stupid, and so ridiculous?! — Despite his own interests and views, Hajime raised his descendants according to the traditions of the islands, and now, when he was old and his game called "life" was nearing its end, he lamented that he simply had no one to leave his accumulated wealth to. — Damn troglodytes... Where did I go wrong in life? — This comment made one of his sons, who was sitting humbly on the floor, smirk, and the head of the family immediately brought the blade of his sword to his face. — Do you want me to take off a piece of your skull? Then you'll take a look inside and see that it's completely empty! — Although his three sons and only daughter had long been adults, in the presence of their father, they still felt helpless, bound by a wave of horror, like children. Hajime himself, it seemed, had temporarily forgotten about the assembled family members and indulged in solitary grumbling. — Kenjiro, you fool, spends two coins to earn one... Shinichiro only knows how to chase skirts, Akira wastes away in books, both as warriors and as entrepreneurs are useless, they would have been vulture food long ago if I hadn't protected them from serious battles! Chiuri... A senseless woman, I wish she would disappear... — In the despair that enveloped him, the gray-haired old man placed his palms on his face and raised his head to the sky, as if demanding an answer from the celestial gods. — Why... Why don't I have a single brave son and a feminine daughter?!
It's a pity that I wrote such a character for someone else's campaign and not for my own. In some kind of plot like "the players' characters start the game as children %non-player name%".
Some player in August: Revan, how does X work?
Revan in August: it works like Y (mental note conveyed verbally).
Revan in almost March: ***, how does X work?
Well, you had a completely homebrew system, and the universal answer was "It works however you want it to"... Honestly, the slot system turned out to be amusing, and for a while, everyone completely forgot about that rule.
Here, it's important to understand that:
there were 33 named NPCs
how long did the expansion last (sorry, months)? It's clear that a lot of things accumulated
how long did the battle itself last...
But overall, yes, it was not easy to study all this and keep it in mind; I myself made mistakes here and there (although I just had to give commands, and with Lok's consultation, who double-checked a lot of things).
