The Lighthouse (2019) For once, I'm being trendy. I watched it while drunk, maybe it's for the better. It's supposedly very deep, but to me, it's just a collection of pseudo-philosophical clichés with a hundred potential meanings (most of which are just pretentious nonsense) that you can choose from based on your own twisted perspective. If you ask me, it's about how a person needs to eat properly, have sex, and not let themselves be oppressed, otherwise they'll go crazy and start having delusions, paranoia, schizophrenia, and other crap. But that's just my opinion, and the film is a piece of crap, twist it however you want, 6/10.
E si sui vius, er mi grans benananza, e si ieu muoir, er mi grans deliuriers
I'll let you in on a secret – sometimes I watch movies while slightly tipsy. And that's the case right now... So, if you had any lingering doubts about whether my opinion holds any weight, I hope they've now been dispelled. I rewatched a movie called Resident Evil (2002). As a child, teenager, and young adult, I watched this movie countless times, probably a dozen or more. I remember checking if it was on TV before I had internet access; it was probably one of the first movies I downloaded. And the last time I watched it, I can't even remember – it must have been at least 8 years ago, maybe even more. I hadn't rewatched it since because I'd watched it so many times that I decided the movie wasn't that great, and all my enthusiasm for it was just due to my youthful inexperience. But I just rewatched it now (and I'm reminding you, I had a few beers) and I think I was completely wrong. The movie is actually really cool! Great soundtrack, action from the first minutes, the exposition scenes are inserted very carefully, only after the action, the laser scene, the ENDING – everything is done perfectly. It's very engaging and doesn't drag. For its time, the movie is excellent and still holds up well today. Or maybe it's just that while watching it, I felt like I was 10 years younger, because I was transported back to the time when I used to watch it regularly.
Where do we go? Where do we end up when we save the world?
Well, Alex drinks intelligently, describing the aroma, aftertaste, and so on. I just get drunk on whatever I can find on sale at the nearest department store.
Where do we go? Where do we end up when we save the world?
It’s as if I’m doing something wrong; recently, there was a Russian patriotic, ultra-conservative jeans brand that cost the same as a kilogram of tomatoes.

^ seymich, regarding both the first paragraph (replacing "sometimes" with "always") and the film itself.
(although I don't write reviews because I'm too lazy to type with my fingers)
Good. This is one of those cases where you can discuss which of the two opposing sides the viewer was rooting for. Below are minimal spoilers.
The Villains – they are friends, clearly trust each other, are on the same wavelength, enjoy life, and have fun (instead of sitting at computers); they live outside the system but don't try to involve outsiders in their adventures. It's worth noting that at least their leader keeps his word, is friendly by nature, brave, and in some ways even fair.
The FBI – the protagonist has to lie, gain trust, pretend to be someone he isn't, while constantly enduring verbal abuse from his superiors; he risks his life, kills others for the sake of his boss's money – literally, because they don't take anything but the bank's cash.
In this context, my choice is obvious... However, I will note that I liked how enthusiastically the agent approached his new job – he was young, ambitious, and energetic... That's how youth should be.
Not bad. The plot is quite consistent and there are no random, out-of-place elements. I just don't understand this American fascination with short-haired female characters with low, raspy voices.
Someone needs to get rid of these nerds and geeks on Russian TV. Where are the buff, cool guys? I'm going to throw this TV out the window from the 4th floor soon, and I don't care if I have to pay for the damaged cars.
Смысла нет, но вы держитесь там. Удачи, здоровья, хорошего настроения! И пока в кармане пачка милкиуэйев - значит все не так уж плохо на сегодняшний день
Waiting for Monday (1968) How I hate these 30+ old geezers who didn't die in the war and imagine themselves to be full-fledged people... But back then, things were definitely better, and even those damn communists can't deny this universal law of regression. But if you don't pay attention to the main theme, there will be a lot of life and memes. So 7/10 In other words, it's a yes, but also a no, it's all crap, we should have died in the war.
