New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
As you know, with the arrival of the new expansion, new units have appeared. So, I have a question: which new units in Sylvan do you buy, and which do you not?
Personally, I like the old Druid upgrade more than the new one, because the new one doesn't have attacking spells.
You're right about choosing based on the situation, but I think it's definitely worth getting new archers! -75% defense is rough!:smile14:
The worst thing is that they removed the lightning spell from Druids. It was the one that helped me in the early stages, when there were few Druids, to clear out neutral creatures, but now there's no point in upgrading them.
Yes! ;) Their channel skill is useful if you are developing a Summoning or Chaos build. :)
Perhaps, but I haven't tried leveling up in Summoning or Chaos for the Sylvan faction. When leveling up in these skills, it makes sense to take "wolf" druids, but "deer" druids are IMHO better in the early stages (and you can generally avoid upgrading them), and "Mana Transfer" can also be useful, sometimes even more so than "Channel" ;)

Well, mana transfer is worse; a channel is better, as it grants MP and SP, and chaos is very important for a ranger, especially with this development plan: machines: ballista - enchanted ballista, rapid-fire ballista; attack: shooting, fire arrows; chaos: fire lord, secrets of chaos, pyrokinesis, and of course, enchanted shooting. We transfer mana and SP from druids and charge the enchanted arrow, and then we watch the fireworks!
