Horizon of Darkness Auto-translated

- So, it's magic. I assume the opponents are also powerful mages, since they know how to disrupt search spells. Perhaps it would be worth applying... more traditional methods?

- It might be worth a try.

The huntress nods approvingly.
– Thank you for the information. We need to discuss all this with our commander, but I think we can convince her to allocate at least part of the squad to help you. How can we find you?

- I'm renting a small house in Orige.

– Oh, I know where that is. It’s a very nice town. You’re looking for Winston, right?

- Ah, I know that place. It's a very pleasant town. You're looking for Winston, right?

- Yes, ask the locals, they all know me there.

- Great! I don't know if Lynn is with us or not, but I assume that even if she is in the tavern, she's somewhere off to the side. In any case, we need to relocate and talk in private.

Lin is doing some freelance work, it seems.

Then we wait for the board game to end, smoothly excuse ourselves from Winston, and text Lynn that we've found our client and need to meet to discuss everything.

If anything, all of this can be done even without me.

Nikta waits for her teammates to finish their beer and meat at the board game, and politely excuses herself from Winston's team. Once she's out of his hearing range, she dictates a message to Lin:
"Target located. We're returning to base. We need to discuss everything."
After that, logically, she leads the party towards the base, but slowly, at a leisurely pace, in case Lin wants to meet somewhere else.

Having finished her business with the sculptor, Lin also heads to the meeting place. - What a slacker, - upon learning the details of the meeting, her face clearly showed disappointment, - he's been here for so long, but he hasn't tracked down the missing person. But never mind, the guy is clearly not very active, since no one in the area has heard much about him. Do you think he will be of any use?

- He sounded quite natural and was willing to share details about the mission; as far as I can tell, he wasn't lying. But he had a very peculiar smell. I can't pinpoint what was wrong with him, but it made me uneasy. And he was having too much luck in the game. Maybe he drank some luck potions, or maybe he made a deal with some demon. I think we should "help" him, but at the same time, we need to conduct our own investigation to find out what he's really up to. And regarding the search for Kerwani, we should always try to know a little more than we tell him. I don't see any reason to argue with him; it's better to continue playing together for now, just being extremely cautious and verifying everything he says. Perhaps we should also inform our employer about our progress?

- Hmm, is there any point in withholding information from him instead of presenting him with the facts? Judging by all accounts, he doesn't even know that he or Kerwan are being sought after, let alone what he's actually doing... It seems he just hangs out in bars and brothels. But you know the person better, so I'll leave the decision to you.

- I need to think about it. I don't want to trust him, but what do we have to lose if we tell the truth...?
