After Radiel smeared the last clubber across the floor, the mercenaries tied up the remaining opponents. Nikta regains consciousness, and the ring of salvation breaks. The girl feels incredible pain, is unable to move, and her mouth is filled with blood. She senses Arael nearby.

The mercenaries see the spirit emanating from the fallen creature's body; the creature laughs loudly, and its laughter causes pain to everyone in the room except Radiel, Arael, Zeikin, Davalia, and Nikta.
- Fools, - the spirit murmurs in a low, otherworldly voice. - We will meet again!
The spirit disappears, the creature's body turns to dust, and a ring remains in its place.
