Right now, I'm leaning towards the sword, considering how many melee units there are. In terms of who will use the sword, and the fact that the draconid won't bring much new to the table. Besides, it was originally planned with an emphasis on positional combat and protecting squishy units, and we don't have that many of those yet. And I've already come up with skills for the sword. The draconid can always be kept as a backup character, in case the sword doesn't last long.
