One day in November, Leila decides to check the library, just in case, amidst all the commotion caused by the latest murder – this time, of the heir apparent – she missed the arrival of the literature requested by Barbara. The strange situation with Caladium was, of course, peculiar. He seemed not only to be a member of the royal family but also a great warrior, yet he was stabbed in an alley by someone who clearly lacked any impressive combat skills. But even if that weren't the case, anyone can be caught off guard, but the motive of Aliduum himself was not entirely clear. It was clear that he was someone's pawn in a conspiracy against Futaba, but Leila felt that he was someone who was too concerned with his own well-being to attack such a dangerous and influential person. What was he promised that made him choose an opponent he couldn't possibly defeat? And what did he hope to achieve if the conspirators' plan succeeded? Of all people, he would be much more vulnerable outside the walls of NAILS. Unless the fear of Futaba, which he had demonstrated even at the "compensation ceremony," outweighed any semblance of common sense in the horned demon's head. One could laugh at the demon's stupidity if his actions hadn't harmed other people. And if he hadn't done all this right under the noses of both the disciplinary committee and the "Forget-Me-Nots."
