Added after 10 hours and 24 minutes

Going to celebrate New Year's in the forest. Along the way, I'll encounter hostile pre-holiday creatures, snowdrifts up to my knees, and a water obstacle, but I'll reach my destination and light a big bonfire. Then, the alcohol will hit me, and I'll start a battle with the ghosts of the past.

maybe it's not necessary?

Well, that's true. You definitely don't need a tarp and a saw. A shovel is good for finding worms and digging your own grave. A smartphone won't weigh you down, but there's no guarantee you'll have internet access. You don't need a shelter either – a hole in the snow with a roof is simpler and more convenient. And you definitely don't want to freeze to death – it's much better to spend a couple of hours wandering around in the dark looking for firewood. Even if you don't manage to find any, you'll still warm up.

And then they showed up.

Do you feel like a celebrity and a heartthrob, the dream of millions of women, who, during a photoshoot in the forest, gives the camera sultry looks?

It's the last day of the week, I found a pile of wood, and I'm exactly 1 unit short of building cavalry.
