After Axel took Alseus home, he headed to Mariarnelia to report. If she doesn't ask, the knight doesn't explain why he visited Florenzan first.
Having observed all the necessary formalities, Axel began his report.
-- As I expected, Lord Gitgood answered my questions as evasively and vaguely as possible. However, I managed to get his help in the form of healers for our citizens and warriors. Judging by the reaction of his entourage, even such modest help was not to their liking. Considering all the peculiarities of this region, I think they will trade with both sides of the conflict. I believe we should not try to put a stop to this at this stage. We risk losing our share and giving everything to the enemy.
- We will do as you suggest, Knight of the Dark Sky. - Deus had nothing more to say on this matter. - Tell me, my knight, in light of the latest news, how highly do you rate our chances of success in the upcoming confrontation?
— Below average, - Axel replied briefly. — However... You yourself saw what happened during the tournament. Chance is merciless. It can either elevate you or destroy you. Therefore, we should think less about chances and more about what we can do, and most importantly — what we want to do.

- We want to make sure that all our knights return to the ranks and stand in defense of Kanamia together with their brothers. Apparently, this was an order to return the remaining 11 knights to the ranks of active figures, who for one reason or another were currently absent...
-- Live in sin -- die laughing, -- shrugged Ambrose. -- The coming battle will be the measure of our righteousness: he who is sinful shall fall. Rot does not strike the body first -- only its individual members. And if a hand rots, then cut off the hand before the infection reaches the heart. And as for the heart of the kingdom, I am as confident in its purity as I am in our cause. Thus I have spoken!
- You speak wisdom, truth lies in strength, and battle is the best witness. And so I wish once again to be assured of our righteousness. Ambrose learns that in order to return a given person to the roster of figures in the faction struggle, he must, on his faction's turn, spend an action, challenge him to a duel, and win without using mounts or ranged weapons.

-- It shall be done, Your Majesty, - Axel made his customary bow and set off to carry out the queen's will.
If he happens not to know where to find them, he asks for clarification, then leaves.
