Second question: if the magatama breaks, can Elsa restore it? The effect would be preserved. I wouldn't want to deprive Alex of such a good and important item for roleplay, even if the chances of it breaking are small.
It's worth noting that this prologue is packed with named characters with a ton of abilities and unique gear. In regular battles, the second half is usually basic mobs with identical stats and equipment, plus one or two unique caps.
I was recently thinking about this in the context of leadership, which I'll need to study at some point. Because +2 speed is a lot even for other Knights, and for standard guys it's like +50% to mobility (with Lamente's ability), or even more.

Alright. I want to win, but I don't really want to break Alex's gear. If it were some Axel, I'd think about it — it'd give me a reason to beg for a new sword — but this isn't about Axel.
Rezara moves above Ambrose and uses Precise Strike on him. If Inspiration procs and Ambrose has at least one stack of Bleed, he attacks Axel from his previous position, using the same Precise Strike. Otherwise, he attacks Ambrose again.
Gingkink moves under Axel and hits him very hard. Very hard. 140x3 damage on a normal hit.
