Milady Chonchonlia Quintea wins...
Ничто не возникает из ничего и ничто не пропадает бесследно. Если где-то чего-то убудет, то в другом месте добавится. (Закон сохранения).
Spinning gracefully on his heel, the aesthetic of which was accentuated by an elegant sweep of his magnificent cloak, Dawnfall drops, kicking up a puff of dust. "Where did I miscalculate?" he asked himself, replaying the last few seconds in his mind. It seemed he had wanted to dodge the shot by nimbly tilting his head to the side, but the cunning milkmaid fired preemptively, having read that maneuver.
Rising, he removes his helmet and whistles — in both eye sockets of the death's head, two arrow shafts are sticking out. "Losing is unpleasant, of course. But you, milady, have nothing to be ashamed of — you shoot excellently on the move. They do say that drinking from the same cup can be sobering."
I thought Lester would leave the tournament undefeated. As for my hopes for a prize place — I have none.
If there are any Chronicles today, they'll be very brief — the day was extremely hard and exhausting. One of those days when you want to tell everything to go to hell, lie down, and feel nothing.
So maybe I've finally learned to read the bracket correctly. Is my next fight against Candle?
We still need to see the further battles of the tournament. But I don't think anyone other than Axel, Lester, or perhaps Orvald will be the winner. Unless the random suddenly turns its back on the favorites and faces someone else. I highly doubt that anyone among the remaining, besides Candle, can take down Axel. Maybe Orvald as well.

Yes. Heroist even kindly laid out the duels for all subsequent rounds in advance, in his post.
Well, I also think the victory will go to these three. For me, it remains to count on the archery contest and the reward for the chronicles, which I still need to finish writing. In the melee, I'm more in it for fun; I don't believe in my own victory.
The bugurt is so chaotic that it's hard to predict anything there. If the alliance survives Albuus, Zedil, and the life-link combo, then a lot depends on the remaining characters on the field. I have a rough plan for dealing with it in my head, but random is random. And archers, as it happens, have good chances of reaching the "every man for himself" stage.
05.03.297 — tournament in honor of the birthday of Deus Mariarnelia
Round 3, fight 1.
Milord Axel Von Himmel V Milord Ambrose Turbon
After his previous victory, Ambrose seemed to have cooled his ardor. At least, his first strike against the Knight of Gloomy Sky appeared "ordinary." Not extremely cruel, not strong, not weak. The most standard duelist behavior, as if there had been no outburst in the previous round.
And while Sir Axel was unable to inflict any damage on his opponent in return, his wyvern scorched the body of the Knight of Hegemony, much like what happened with Dawn Steel in the fight against Catharsis.
The rest of the fight felt more like a mockery of Ambrose. Tongues of flame lashed the man's body, hindering him from conducting the battle properly. Meanwhile, Axel continued to land blows on him, and the wyvern set Mordred on fire.
As is standard for prolonged fights, both men took breaks to take swigs from their flasks, but there was little point in doing so. As soon as Ambrose lost Mordred, Axel, who had been keeping his distance, shot him down with his bow without much trouble, not giving him the slightest chance to close in. Another victory for Gloomy Sky.
Note: it's unfair that poor animals have to suffer so much. But I believe using wyverns in such tournaments should be banned in the future!
