After his previous victory, Ambrose seemed to have cooled his ardor. At least, his first strike against the Knight of Gloomy Sky appeared "ordinary." Not extremely cruel, not strong, not weak. The most standard duelist behavior, as if there had been no outburst in the previous round.
And while Sir Axel was unable to inflict any damage on his opponent in return, his wyvern scorched the body of the Knight of Hegemony, much like what happened with Dawn Steel in the fight against Catharsis.
The rest of the fight felt more like a mockery of Ambrose. Tongues of flame lashed the man's body, hindering him from conducting the battle properly. Meanwhile, Axel continued to land blows on him, and the wyvern set Mordred on fire.
As is standard for prolonged fights, both men took breaks to take swigs from their flasks, but there was little point in doing so. As soon as Ambrose lost Mordred, Axel, who had been keeping his distance, shot him down with his bow without much trouble, not giving him the slightest chance to close in. Another victory for Gloomy Sky.
Note: it's unfair that poor animals have to suffer so much. But I believe using wyverns in such tournaments should be banned in the future!
