Alright. For now, I'm just heading to Candle (that's where the fight is) and healing myself on the way if I'm missing 100 or more HP. Once I get there, we'll see.
So, remind me, leadership can only be used by a hero-commander (Alcira for us, on the bugurt) and even if the commander is withdrawn, a second character with leadership won't be able to use it?
Having finished and submitted her entries for the erudition contest, Stefania once again set about transcribing the battles she had witnessed onto paper. Only God knows how she managed to do it all.
05.03.297 — tournament in honor of Deus Mariarnelia's birthday
Round 1, fight 6.
Milord Lester Vargas V Sir Orvald de Martelam
Milord Lester Vargas, Knight of the Dawn Steel from Kanamia, servant of Deus Mariarnelia
Strengths: moves across the arena with lightning speed, delivers precise, powerful, and swift knife strikes, knows how to hide in the shadows, wears armor
Weaknesses: fights on foot
Sir Orvald de Martelam, Knight of the Golden Tower from Flowers, servant of Lord Githgud Flowersens, adherent of Eidolism
Strengths: wears armor, wields a hammer and shield, steed Bastion
Weaknesses: does not wield ranged weapons
When the opponents clashed in combat, Sir Orvald not only struck first but also deftly dodged three of Sir Lester's attacks in a row. However, on the next attempt he missed and took a knife thrust to the side.
The injury clearly enraged the Knight of the Golden Tower, for in the very next moment he brought his hammer down on Lester once again, temporarily disabling the Knight of Deus, after which he dealt another painful blow.
It seemed Orvald's advantage was obvious, and the Knight of Dawn Steel should have conceded defeat by then. But Lester Vargas seemed to find a second wind, and he landed another effective attack on Githgud Flowersens' servant.
Feeling the sting of impending defeat burning at their backs, both knights chose to retreat to restore their health with healing potions. And so they charged back into battle, until once again they inflicted too severe damage upon each other. At that point, the warriors once again took a break to heal.
It seemed this would go on until the knights exhausted their supply of flasks, but the Knight of Dawn Steel decided he had had enough. The man deftly dodged the hammer, then executed his signature series of three strikes, which finally drained Orvald of all strength. The Knight of the Golden Tower fell, opening the winning streak for Lester Vargas.
Notes: if Lester Vargas rode a horse and wielded a bow as skillfully as he did a dagger, it seems everyone else would be fighting solely for second and third place
"What a beast" — not without inner disgust, brushing the cobwebs off himself, Lester sadly looks at the remains of the coin.
- My relic... Maybe something can still be done, glued back together or soldered? - the face of one of the former Theirs on the reverse was distorted beyond recognition.

Elsa is "impressed" by your dispatch of Stefania and won't fix it right now. But you can gather the fragments and approach her after all the events. Maybe you can talk her into it...
