Only a local girl named Shino, who was flirting with his mentor, had arrived before him. “Good morning, everyone!” Daniel greeted the group politely and friendly, and then asked what all the rush was about and what kind of fun was planned.

“Well, let’s not waste any time.” When Daniel arrived at the meeting place, Gungnir interrupted the conversation between Shino and Matthias and addressed his two pupils. “Fight, I want to see what you’re capable of.”
“What do you think he’s up to now?” Ilva asked her brother, slightly worried, as they walked towards the western forest.
Reinhold simply shrugged thoughtfully. He wished he could go back to the dream he had, but the morning walk had already erased most of the details from his mind. Nevertheless, he was sure that the dream had definitely left him with pleasant feelings.
“How is Claudia doing?” he asked his sister instead. “I hope she and Cecilia don’t start a feud after yesterday.”
“I don’t know,” Ilva said, shivering from the morning chill and wrapping her cloak tighter around herself. “I was just thinking of visiting her, but our baron suddenly had something on his mind.”
“Don’t worry. It’s probably something important. I heard that the others will be there too.”
“Thanks, that’s reassuring,” the last phrase from Reinhold clearly dampened Ilva’s mood. “What a great way to start the day.”
Continuing to talk quietly, they reached the meeting place for the group in the western forest.
“Good morning, gentlemen,” Reinhold greeted everyone politely. “I’m glad to see you all in good health. I hope your journey went well,” he added, addressing the old baron.
Ilva, instantly falling silent, gave a short nod to those present and quietly mumbled a greeting, half-hiding behind her brother.
