I recently had the chance to read the complete history of the Might and Magic universe, which I found here:

It's all written very interestingly and in detail. I haven't read such a comprehensive history before. Of course, I knew the backstory of Might and Magic, but not as thoroughly as it is presented in this massive article.

To make it easier to read this article, as it is very valuable for fans of the world of Might and Magic created by NWC, I saved it in Word as a single file and attached the Word version and a plain TXT file without images to this post. It took quite a while, almost 250 pages in 14-point font. That's the story of Might and Magic.

Everyone should read it; it's a very interesting story.

mm_history.doc - a detailed history of Might and Magic (the original has many pages, and it's simply not economically viable to read it online; this file contains everything)
mm_history.txt - the same story, but takes up much less space, especially for dial-up users like me, but without images.

I've attached both files to the post.

Reading all of this will make your head spin :) But nevertheless, huge respect to whoever tried to systematize and translate this whole soap opera into Russian.

By the way, Xeen (Might and Magic 4-5) and Enroth (Might and Magic 6-8, Heroes of Might and Magic 1-3 with expansions) are different planets.

Yes, I am also familiar with Demilich's anthologies; much respect to him, they are excellently made systematizations of many games.
Xel also gets a morale boost, even though the buttons with him don't work right now...

Yes. Soon there will be an update to the story, where controversial moments will be removed and corrected.

It's not known yet, but the work is progressing. However, Demilich and I don't always have time right now.

Hello. I wanted to know if the stories of "Heroes of Might and Magic" and "Might and Magic" are connected, or are they two separate worlds? I'm a newbie.
