I have no idea why. You should ask them. I don't celebrate anything at all.

Небо – мольбы не ждёт
Небо – угроз не слышит
Небо – ведёт особый счёт
Небо – тебя найдёт

For most people, there are only two opportunities to take more than three days off – vacation and New Year. But vacations are enjoyed one after another, while the whole country celebrates the New Year together. That's why it has such a big impact.

Now, compare the number of participants in the relay race with the total population of the capital. And the relay racers could have been drinking from the first to the seventh day.

Last January 1st, I ran a 7 km race, there were many people, and everyone seemed sober...
Did you become friends with righteous female athletes? Did you organize a Sports Day afterwards?

Yeah, some real lifers are hanging out here....
Did your wife let you go to the corporate party? Or will you be at home with the kid while she's just dancing with colleagues at the corporate party?

What is the point of celebrating the New Year...
Ask the Orthodox Christians. The whole world celebrates Christmas.

A healthy person's New Year's meal:
It seems to me that a healthy person can eat more than just 404.
Oh, you fixed it... Well, yes, that's what I like best out of what's presented.

Celebrating New Year's with family has a significant advantage: a huge amount of food that you don't buy or prepare, but you can eat it without any worries, because it's made in huge quantities with a surplus for a billion years. But this year, I'm alone again, which means it's not worth the effort to prepare a "festive" meal. And without it, this day somehow loses all its specialness.

Whatever
