2) Shirley-Myrli (a Russian comedy with Garkalin, a bit silly but I like it)
3) Piranha Hunt
with a significant gap:
Star Wars (Episode III) and Russian comedies like Ivan Vasilyevich

TV Shows:
1) The Master and Margarita
2) Nine Unknowns
3) Bandit Petersburg (I don't usually like detective shows, but I enjoy this one)
with a significant gap: Lost and March of the Turkish (thanks to Domogarov - an excellent actor)

I like these movies:
1. Star Wars
2. Godzilla (Japanese films)
3. The Lord of the Rings
4. Pirates of the Caribbean
5. War (our Russian film)
6. Operation Y and Other Shurik's Adventures
7. Pirates of the 20th Century
8. Land of the Dead
... it's hard to remember more.

TV series:

2. March of the Turkish
3. Inspector Rex

I like:

The Lord of the Rings and a couple of other fantasy movies)) but they don't come close to LOTR.
Kingdom of Heaven, Alexander, Troy, etc.)) Pirates of the Caribbean is okay.
There are also some good thrillers, dramas, and psychological films) The Illusionist, Alive, and others... I can't remember them all.

I don't like action movies, and I'm not a big fan of science fiction or horror.

My favorite movie is "Mortal Kombat 1" (the tenth tournament); I didn't like the second part. But filming for the third part is supposed to start in November 2007 (in England). I hope I live to see it.))) I won't even mention "The Lord of the Rings"; it's just a great movie. At first, I watched all the episodes with Goblin's translation, and then I found one with a decent translation. As Drakkoshka wrote, old Soviet films are also very interesting. I would add "Caucasian Captive" to Drakkoshka's list. Goblin's "Big Score" is just great. I also liked the movie "Troy" (about the Trojan War). "The Transporter" is a good movie. "Taxi 1," "The Scorpion King," "The Mummy," "The Mummy Returns," "Night at the Museum." My favorite TV series is "Happily Ever After" (the Bukin family). The series "Mortal Kombat" - about Kung Lao. The ninth tournament. Where evil wins (Shao Kahn). (By the way, this is the first movie where I saw evil win). The series "The Amazing Adventures of Hercules." I love watching BBC documentaries, National Geographic, and "Living Planet."

Well, there are many great movies, so I'll just list the ones that come to mind:
1. 12 - I recommend it to everyone; it's not just a film about life, it's a Film about Life.
2. Star Wars series - I liked all the films, but episodes 4, 5, and 6 are still the best.
3. Fight Club
4. Mortal Kombat 1
5. Resident Evil 1
6. Dungeons & Dragons (of course, the old one, not the recent trash) - my favorite fantasy film; in my opinion, it's better than Lord of the Rings.
7. Coming to America - my favorite comedy from childhood.
8. Richie Rich - another great comedy with my favorite comedic actor.
9. Die Hard 1, 2 - for some reason, these action films stood out the most from the entire series of old action movies; thanks to them, Bruce Willis made it onto my list of favorite actors.
10. The Sixth Sense
11. The 9th Company
12. Claymore Base - I love movies that make you think.
13. Pirates of the Caribbean
I also love all the films by Tarantino, Guy Ritchie, Robert Rodriguez, and their followers.

As for TV series, I can mention:
1. Lexx
2. All the films about Gardemarins
3. The Three Musketeers

Season 1 of LEXX was pretty cool.

Forgot to add to the list of TV series – Lost. It’s a great series, just so convoluted that I eagerly anticipated each episode.
