So, as a film enthusiast, I decided to create this thread! Please keep your responses concise, as it will be tedious to read lengthy posts...

For example, I personally love Tarantino, among directors; also Besson, Kaufman, Hallström, Kuelap, Burton, Jarmusch...
As for actors, I like Depp, Travolta, Cassel, Belmondo, Delon, McGregor, Hopkins, Nicholson, but there are many more – they wouldn't all fit here... I'm looking forward to your responses.

So, I've always liked Spielberg and his series, The X-Files.
And my favorite actor is also from that series, David Duchovny.
I also like "Pirates of the Caribbean" and Johnny Depp, and I'm eagerly awaiting the release of the second part....

For some reason, I liked the movie "Piranha".
"Scary Movie 4":) and movies like "Saw" and so on.

Generally, I like all movie genres, as long as the movie itself is well-made... unfortunately, I can't write anything worthwhile about the criteria for this "well-made," as it's all subjective :) but...

saw is a thermonuclear movie, especially the 1st film. and i had such a gem here: i'm going to the cinema (alone), i approach, look at the poster - decided to go to scary movie 4. bought the last ticket (there were no more) and went into the hall. the ticket lady looked carefully at the ticket, tore off the stub and wished me a pleasant viewing... and then it turned out, somewhere around the 5th minute of the screening, that i had entered the wrong hall. i also noticed there weren't many people, although the whole hall seemed packed on screen. in the end, i watched "Catch Me If You Can" with Owen - an awesome movie, didn't regret that such a blunder happened... ;) ;) ;)

Cube is good, I also like Saw, Lord of the Rings, and Dogma.

When it comes to movies, I prefer hilarious teen comedies: Scary Movie 1-4, American Pie 1-4. Like Xaker, I enjoy The X-Files. And right now, while the 2006 World Cup is on, I'm only watching that!

Among the actors, there's Ben Affleck... Matt Damon... (and Denzel Washington... in my opinion, he's a great actor)...
As for actresses, I don't have any preferences... I like anyone who is pleasant to look at (:

No, no, the Star Wars ones... I think the classic ones are much better.

I respect Lucas, Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings), and among actors, Sheren Stone and someone else...

I personally enjoy old Russian and French comedies the most (and, consequently, everyone knows the actors). They don't know how to film like that anymore, or maybe the actors have just become too complacent. As for modern shows, I liked "The X-Files" and "Psych" (and everything in that genre). Nowadays, I watch TV maybe once a week, and I've been to the cinema about 5 times in my life.
