Can anyone explain what’s happening with my favorite club, Kyiv’s “Dynamo” right now???:( :(
They haven’t won any games in the League yet, and the gameplay isn’t great.
I think I’ll go to the Manchester game, hoping for a positive experience, but with each match, there’s less and less of it:smile27: :eek:

But if you're interested, I can share the opinion of one Dynamo fan (K).

"First, about Dynamo. After Lobanovsky died, everything basically went downhill, to put it mildly in our native Russian. Immediately, Mykhailichenko, a former Dynamo player, took over as head coach; of course, you all remember him from Dynamo's golden squad of 1986. So, under Lobanovsky, Mykhailichenko was the head coach's assistant, or simply a team coach. When Lobanovsky passed away, Surkis appointed Mykhailichenko as the head coach. It seems that's how it happened. In 2004, Mykhailo completely messed up, failing to qualify for the European Cups for the first time in the club's recent history, losing in the second qualifying round to the excellent Thun team from Sweden. After that, Leonid Buryak became the coach, but the team immediately disregarded him because he wasn't very good. In 2005, Demyanenko Anatoly was appointed as the coach, but he didn't achieve much either, except for becoming the champion of Ukraine and winning the Super Cup. In the last season of the Champions League, Demyan's team failed miserably, finishing 4th in the group. But the club's president, Surkis, apparently didn't think that was enough, and Demyan remained the coach until the next failure in the Champions League. Thanks to the fact that Dynamo started this season in the 3rd qualifying round and faced a rather mediocre team from Bosnia, "Sarajevo," they made it to the group stage, where the team has already failed, losing the first two matches: against Roma and Sporting. After the defeat in the opening match against Roma, Demyan was removed, but Jozef Szabo was appointed, who is a fairly well-known coach, but in the opinion of all Ukrainian fans, they just replaced one bad thing with another. The team needs fresh blood; Jozef Jozefovich will probably not bring anything new to the team."

The Dynamo-Shakhtar match just ended...
They played in the snow up to their knees))). Contrary to predictions, Dynamo achieved a WELL-DESERVED victory! When I saw the field, I thought there wouldn't be any football... But the result brought a lot of positive emotions! The intrigue in the championship is getting even stronger.

This club has been working hard towards its victory for a long time, always falling just short... And now, the moment has arrived! I can only imagine the jubilation that took place in the streets of St. Petersburg! :)
And I am very happy for Zenit; no offense to other fans, but they deserve this victory! And honestly, I really wanted Zenit to win... Although I am a Lokomotiv fan myself, I can see things objectively. And this season, it was clear that Lokomotiv, unfortunately, could not reach the top of the standings, even though it is one of the strongest clubs in Russia... IMHO. It's a pity that my favorite club is stuck somewhere in the middle, closer to the top than the bottom, which closes off their path to the European Cups, but there is still the UEFA Cup, and we can only hope that all their efforts will now be focused on it... After all, we can!
By the way, today I learned the latest news... after a disastrous season, and Lokomotiv has never fallen so low, Anatoly Byshovets was removed from the position of head coach, along with the entire coaching staff. The senior coach of Lokomotiv's reserve team, Rinat Bilyaletdinov, has been appointed as acting head coach. He is a familiar figure to the players, so I don't think there will be any problems or disagreements in the team. Besides, Rinat Bilyaletdinov is the father of Lokomotiv captain Diniyar Bilyaletdinov... Well, let's wait, watch, and hope!
