I'm playing Lord of the Rings and I've encountered a problem. When I skip a turn (it doesn't matter which day, there's a daily save, I've tried any save and it crashes). Reinstalling the game and all mods didn't help. I tried without HD+, and it works fine. I save, then enter the game with HD+ enabled, and everything is gone. I'm attaching a screenshot of the error, the save file, and the error code. If anyone can help me figure this out, I would be grateful. I've progressed quite far, and I'd hate to have to replay.

Yes, I'll add that the error occurs not only when skipping a turn, but also when trying to save. Without HD+, crashes still occur. In general, something is broken in the map. I also can't start a new game. I reinstalled Windows, downloaded the map again. As a result, the same error occurs specifically on this map. I tried Paragon, skipped a day, saved, and it works. If it's not too much trouble, could you upload the heroes installed with the HD mod and the Sod_sp plugin to that Google Drive or another cloud storage? I'll try copying the installed version; maybe it will work. Or help me solve the problem.

What do you expect from a 20-byte file? It's practically empty; the game doesn't even show it in the list. Go through all your save files and find the latest one that has a normal size (around hundreds of kilobytes). You should continue the walkthrough from that save. Also, which Lord of the Rings map are you referring to (there are many), and what version is it? Please provide a link to the website where you downloaded it – the map file itself might be corrupted. I don't know what happened; the situation is unclear. It could be a problem with your version of Heroes, your hard drive, or Windows.

Unfortunately, I reinstalled Windows, which deleted the game and save files... But it didn't solve the problem. I reinstalled everything, and it's still the same. The game crashes right on the first day (I just noticed that the save file is also not working). But replaying isn't a problem; I really liked the map. I looked at the distribution. It's 2 GB, while the original disc was 700 MB. I'll send you a link to the "Complete Collection" version that I play in a private message. It only differs from the original in that it has a built-in NoCD patch (after installation, the game doesn't require a disc). Install it, apply the HD mod, the Russian super-pack, and SOD_SP (if you want more comfort), configure it, and you're good to go.

Marmot, I unsubscribed, but unfortunately, it didn't help. I even changed computers, so the problem is probably not with Windows. Perhaps a faulty HD update was released, as everything worked before that.

Marmot, thank you very much, it seems like everything is working! So, the latest version of the HD mod is buggy, something needs to be done. However, I had to get SOD_SP from Rins from the VK group. Because your version changes the landscape and creatures on the battlefield. There are many problems specifically in this map, and constantly disabling the HD mod is not an option. If SOD_SP is working correctly, then in the battle with the hellish spawn, there should be one enhanced creature. This is critical for this map and makes it unplayable.

Marmot, it still crashes. I uploaded the save file before the crash, you can take a look. With the HD mod, attacking the zombies causes a crash

I use SOD_SP version 1.15b. Configuring this plugin is essential to avoid surprises in the game and, of course, differences in gameplay from the original, as you mentioned.
The crash might still be due to the SOD_SP version you have. My game doesn't crash, so I don't feel the need to update everything to the latest versions.

I've already completed the game, and everything was fine. I came back to read the comments and saw https://heroesportal.net/maps/view/3480 that other people are experiencing the same problems on the Paragon map as I did. I hope they fix it.

Sorry if this has been asked, but I seem to have missed a clear solution.
HotA 3 HD. Latest version 5.0 RC94. I chose the pink color (bottom). Playing on maximum difficulty (no roads, no water, 200%, 7 AI) with standard map generation. The entire game freezes for about 10 minutes between turns when playing against AI. In the Windows 10 Task Manager, the application status is "Not Responding". CPU load is 25%. Both HotA and Windows are installed on an SSD. How can I get rid of this problem?

This is HotA, as I understand it. Apparently, this is the new version. The turn order panel. But the battle log is probably displayed or accessed in a specific way (by clicking on the bottom line?). Please refer to the relevant topic in the HotA section.

Hello everyone!

I decided to start playing Heroes after watching some streams (I used to play it at my dad's workplace when I was a kid).
I think I've downloaded and installed everything.
But the in-game interface seems different from what the streamers have.
I can't see the number of units in buildings, and there's no option to exchange items between heroes in the town.

Can you tell me what I might have done wrong?
Did I install something extra, or did I miss something?

Also, when launching the Jebus Cross template and clicking "Start Again," it simply loads the game with the same map as before. Is a new map not generated in single-player mode? Is it only generated in multiplayer mode? If the map generation fails, I have to create a new map each time through the menu.

Starting over means beginning the game from the very beginning on the same map with the exact same generation (with all the same random objects, monsters, and artifacts). To create a new map, you need to exit to the main menu and start from there. Trading between heroes in a town (if I'm not mistaken) works in HotA (Horn of the Abyss), but not in The Complete Collection/The Shadow of Death (SoD). I only have The Complete Collection; I haven't played HotA yet. The number of creatures in hives, preserves, pyramids, and other such structures is only displayed after visiting them (if you decline the battle).
