In principle, any religious organization, monastic order, etc., not necessarily of a good alignment, would be a fresh idea compared to what's already been done.
The problem is that without strict limitations on the origin, there aren't many such options: 1) Artery and its heresy (but heresy isn't a very good group) 2) Heckelian dynasties and their pantheon 3) LEGENDS, which, in my opinion, are too vague for such a concept 4) Demon worshipers
Considering the specificity of the last two options, only what I described earlier remains.
Let's create a group of Telos warriors. We'll grab everyone we can with our bare hands and beat them up, and we'll also sew special leather suits. Anything is better than creating a party of non-humans.
If belonging to one of the options implies a fixed range of reasoning within a certain interval, then I disagree.
Only legends, demonology, the Artery, and the Heckelian pantheon have no restrictions. Dynasties can only apply to humans, but that doesn't significantly narrow down the choices. However, the others have too strong a regional connection.

Based on your description, it doesn't differ much from a regular group of mercenaries, without any specific and tangible goal.
To become famous and stand shoulder to shoulder with those very heroes is a quite specific and tangible goal.
An additional advantage here is that in this scenario, it is not necessary to lock in a specific worldview. The main thing is that the leader and the core group have it, while the rest can simply "be inspired" and desire glory at the same time, while adhering to other religions.
This isn't quite right; it will feature members from different dynasties, whereas this is more like a brotherhood of men, friends who went to war together and shared a sauna. It's a different level of trust and closeness.
