You suspect the player of streamsniping, write about jumping into the dark without looking, and provide a link to the FFA video ("Gomungulus now" - in his profile, with a timestamp), but at the same time, your link clearly shows two views (first on the Castle - 11.52.53, and then on the hero - 11.53.24). You write about a hidden video, but Gom's submod has been on Twitch for two weeks now (many players generally deleted yesterday's broadcasts). By the way, what should be on them - a second monitor? You write about crashes from the CIS (one, if I'm not mistaken :) ) and about Gom's rating, which is at the bottom, but at the current moment, his rating is 792 against 796 for Stinger - a two-time winner of that very CIS. You write about advantageous crashes, but the game in 8-player mode crashes constantly and for everyone - this is generally one of the main problems of games in this format, unfortunately. Your words contradict themselves.
Regarding the situation at the end of the show match. If anyone missed it or didn't pay attention, after the controversial situation, Yar decided to replay the turn as it was originally, which is logical and correct. This option did not suit Savitar, and he left the game - this is his choice and right.
In the end, I would like to note once again that the more money in the games, the more problematic they become. The behavior and words of some players yesterday were beyond reasonable.
What do you think about the statement: different heroes, different game?
Just curious, if this were to appear in any other game, would there be the same outcry?
What do you think about the statement that different heroes mean a different game? I'm just curious, if this happened in any other game, would there be the same outcry?
I agree that different heroes mean a different game. But there's one caveat: the first hit-and-run happened after Dessoy's turn, so it wasn't possible to attack her again in the replay, so the organizer made the right decision: replay the turn. If the hit-and-run had happened before the main heroes' turn the first time, then that second attack would have looked justified, and there would have been no need to replay the turn. After the crashes, completely different heroes appear in the tavern, and this couldn't be regulated. If Kasmetra (or any other strong mage) had appeared instead of Luna, there wouldn't have been a hit-and-run, and that would have been unfair to Gomungulus.
@Caliban, I'm not trying to argue, the decision to replay is, in my subjective opinion, the right one. I'm just curious about the community's attitude towards this phrase by Vitaly, as he justified his actions precisely with it.

The discussion about jumping without looking was about the first link.
Regarding the second link, doesn't it seem strange that he immediately attacks Andu with his main hero without scouting, using all his might and artifacts? Even without "vision," let alone scouting with a scout unit, etc. What if there are shackles, 400+ mana (Andu is an intelligence expert), a hindering skill + all artifacts for hindering, etc.? There was an opportunity for scouting. But why scout when you already know what's there? You're just wasting time on the timer.

Yes, but he has already uploaded the FFA stream to YouTube, he just cut the ending. But it's okay, he'll edit it and upload the "correct" version soon.

It's good when the game crashes at a moment when an ineffective move was made, and you could have easily won, but you made a mistake and didn't do it.

The player blatantly and deliberately made a completely different move. And at the same time, he was provoking and openly mocking his opponent. Is that normal in your opinion?
Instead of one hit-and-run attack and a jump into defense, he does two hit-and-run attacks and an attack with his main hero with shackles. The hero who made the second hit-and-run attack was already in his army the first time! Gom could have done the second hit-and-run attack and the final attack in the turn before the crash, but he didn't (most likely a timer error).
Now, put yourself in Savitar's shoes. 1) The opponent makes one hit-and-run attack on you, then takes the village, drives away the scout, and settles into defense. The turn ends;
2) A crash occurs;
3) After loading, the opponent attacks you with a hit-and-run attack with 30+ creatures (instead of 19), what are your feelings?
4) Well, okay, in the end, you lose an army a little more than you would have in the turn before the crash. The opponent continues;
5) Suddenly, the opponent attacks you with a second hit-and-run attack, although there was no second hit-and-run attack before the crash! What are your feelings?
6) After the second hit-and-run attack, the opponent launches a final attack on you, although in the turn that was before the crash, there was no sign of it!
7) At the same time, the opponent openly mocks and provokes you.
And you think this is normal?
This is a highly inappropriate actionon Gom's part, what are the consequences for him? Why wasn't anything done to him for such actions? As was rightly noted, anarchy does not mean lawlessness.
Well, heroes, we have a precedent before us. If we decide that Gom is great and did everything right, then in the future, in Anarchy, any player has the right to act as he pleases after a crash, the maximum that threatens him is that he will be forced to replay.
Or such behavior should not be ignored, and there should be consequences for Gom.
P.S.
Other heroes -- another game doesn't work here, because the second hit-and-run attack was made by a hero who had been with Gom for a long time, the presence of another hero from the tavern practically did not affect the situation. Gom could have made the same moves the first time, but he was afraid and this was a mistake on his part, which he was not ashamed to correct with a dirty game. Money doesn't smell, as they say.
P.S.2
The fact that this happened in a third-party tournament means that it should be ignored by the hero community? And if a player is caught cheating or using exploits in a third-party tournament, will that also not be taken into account?
Dear Cocaine, there may be some truth in your words, or there may not be, as no convincing evidence has been provided. For now, it's just speculation that fits well with the negative sentiment against Vitaly. I bet there could be another activist = fan of Gomunguls who writes a similar lengthy piece with a positive interpretation of every action he takes. And he might also be right, or he might be wrong.
In my opinion, it's not worth getting so emotionally invested in all of this. Some players don't like this phrase, but it has a fairly deep meaning: it's just a game. :-)
Dear Cocaine, your words may contain truth, or they may not, since not a single convincing piece of evidence has been provided. For now, these are merely speculations that conveniently fit the narrative of negative sentiment against Vitaliy.
What speculations, what are you talking about?
1) After the crash, Gom blatantly and deliberately made a completely different move, this is a fact;
2) Gom openly mocked and provoked his opponent, this is a fact;
3) The hero with which he performed the second hit-and-run was available to him on the turn before the crash, and he could have just as easily done a second hit-and-run then, but he didn't, this is a fact;
4) Before the crash, Gom had fully completed his turn, which did not include a second hit-and-run or a finisher, but instead involved defending on a different respawn, this is a fact;
5) Gom faced absolutely no consequences for his actions. Absolutely none. This is a fact;
Dear user, if you have evidence of unfair play by a significant player, you need to present it first, and then make a statement. Otherwise, it's just throwing fuel on the fire.
cocaine
this is a fact
The fact is that a controversial situation arose during the game (which, by the way, does not have a single solution - I'm talking about "new heroes - new game"). And this situation was resolved by the organizer, and his decision was accepted by everyone.
Someday (never) the community will get rid of provocateurs, and peace, friendship, and chewing gum will reign :smile23:

Perhaps it would have been better if I hadn't written a response. :-) I don't like stirring things up, so I'll probably just remain an observer of the unfolding events.
IMHO, all questions are for YR, as the organizer and judge, since such a thing is allowed. It's his show-match, his rules.
Fully support. YR has repeatedly shown that on his tournaments he is the boss and he doesn't care about the opinions of others. There is no point in bringing discussions of some third-party tournaments to HeroesWorld; if it were a tournament within HeroesWorld (such a replay of a turn is definitely a black mark).
0. I suggest leaving the in-game moments to the discretion of the judge/organizer. He saw everything, he knows everything. Whatever he decides is the right decision.
Regarding the game, I want to highlight a few points for the future: 1. Every FFA = Chaos => FFA = Evil :D 2. When participating in such an event, players should understand that all non-standard issues should be resolved quietly and peacefully, and if this is not possible, then it is up to the judge. There should not be a situation where a participant disagrees with the organizer and takes a defiant stance. Anyone who is not ready to accept the judge's decision, whatever it may be, has no place in such a tournament. Because it is much more difficult to please eight people than two, so there will always be someone whose rights are infringed. 3. Some participants need to learn to accept defeats with dignity. 4. Some participants should not stoop to the level of Dota players and BM (bad manner), especially when winning. After all, our community differs from others with its atmosphere, adequacy, and friendliness. We will still play many, many games together. 5. Peace to all (c) BESHA 6. And most importantly, give Tvarine some decent artifacts and spells, please
We played 3 FFA matches before this, and there were no arguments between the players, and the 2v2 tournament also went smoothly. But in those tournaments, Lucky and Goma weren't together.
In any case, everyone who watched FFA #3 should draw a conclusion for the future when watching such events: why push if you can sit in the respawn area and constantly be second to last, and then just split the money.
P.S. You have cool participants; I have nothing against the redhead (or whatever her hair color is now), but last year's +Amilu, +Vudush, and this year's participants are an indicator of the current state of the Heroes community and the situation in general. Sorry, ATG and Maretti, we messed it all up.
And it was also more interesting to watch Stinger vs. Vudush, especially since their 2 streams gathered MANY TIMES MORE viewers than all the streams of the 8 players. You know, that's also an indicator – people choose what's best for themselves.
streamers – it's all subjective. some are simply impossible to watch. or only without sound. some promote nonsense on their channels, which raises questions about their mental health.
but overall, the show turned out to be fun.
because you can watch them all in turn and get content.

Did you call tolerance in society "nonsense," is that correct?
Added after 2 hours and 12 minutes And can you rephrase what he said in a more appropriate way? This guy expressed the opinion that I would be beaten behind the garage for my tolerant views because we live in Russia, which is funny and sad.
