I can't find SOD with the Overhaul feature. Does it even exist, or is Overhaul only in Hota?
Hello,
I can't find SOD with the Overlord function. Does it even exist, or is the Overlord function only in Hota?
Problem solved.
We are playing with simultaneous turns.
The opponent destroys a Guard Tower. The main hero moves away from my zone, and the secondary hero (scout) approaches the main castle (in one turn), and also takes my mine.
On my turn, I attack his scout, thus interrupting the simultaneous turns.
In response, I hear insults and profanity from the opponent. He says that I take too long with my turn, and that I also interrupted the simultaneous turns, etc.
I immediately ended the conversation with this person. I believe that the game should be enjoyable and that we should treat each other with respect.
BUT. I still have a question - "is there some unwritten (or written) rule that when we meet, we should discuss whether we will attack or not. Or, for example, that we cannot attack immediately upon visual contact, but only on the second turn. Or something like that?" Maybe I'm missing something?
Are there any additional rules for simultaneous turns?
And another question:
This person has been added to my blacklist.
Is there such a list on the forum?
So that I can "identify" such opponents in advance and not even start a game with them.
I tried placing seventh-level creatures in key locations, but that only delays this scenario for a while. From all this, the question arises: is it possible to change the AI's behavior in some way? So that they focus more on fighting each other, rather than clearing the map of all sorts of useful things.
Perhaps, due to some coincidence, this hero was hired by the enemy (a bug in the game?). Or it could be an error by the author during map creation: first, they imprisoned a specific hero, and then they prohibited him in the map properties. Unfortunately, if it were a single-player map, we could check some things with Prospector.
Where did you get this campaign? Can you provide a link? If you extract the relevant map from the campaign, you can examine it in the editor.

Why could this have happened?
and can this be fixed?
UPD
I was able to reproduce the problem. This happens if the player hires a hero named Sorcha (also known as Empress). Because of this, she becomes available for hire in the tavern (not available for building) in the 6th mission of the campaign, which causes this message to appear when visiting the dungeon.
Reloading the scenario will not fix this. To complete the map, you need to use cheats or replay the entire campaign without hiring the specified hero.

But isn't this an oversight by the author, rather than a bug in the game?
