Loken wrote such a profound and insightful post, and you, as always... That's how depression develops, through a lack of understanding from others and jokes.
Said the person who hits below the belt with their jokes...
This is already the second scene FROM MY REAL LIFE that you're treating like some unreal arthouse movie...
It's not my fault that your life is like an arthouse movie...
Небо – мольбы не ждёт Небо – угроз не слышит Небо – ведёт особый счёт Небо – тебя найдёт
In the store, a girl, about 13-14 years old, with a sad face, was buying a magazine about celebrities, something like "cool" or "all the stars," as if it were the early 2000s. She put it in a shoulder bag covered with several pins. Maybe she's poor and doesn't have a smartphone or internet? Maybe she has a single-parent family and/or alcoholic parents? Maybe she was buying it for her little sister, who isn't allowed to have gadgets? Maybe she stole it and decided to buy a cheap magazine at the checkout? She wasn't beautiful or ugly – just a typical face of a Slavic girl from the CIS, a classmate from the early 2000s. She didn't say anything to the saleswoman, just looked down. The magazine was quite thin. Maybe she spent her small pocket money on it? Because of all this, I couldn't understand – maybe she was being bullied at school for being poor, modest, or for something else? Maybe the thin magazine about the lives of Kirkorov and Baskov, which she spent her meager pocket money on, was her escape? Or maybe not. Maybe she traveled through time from 2001? Or maybe she's actually doing great, and I just imagined it all.
Nevertheless, it was one of the most depressing sights in real life recently. The fact that I couldn't tell from her appearance whether she was living a good life or a bad one, but I felt the uncomfortable atmosphere of the early 2000s, at least suggests that the atmosphere there was unhealthy. The fact that I wanted to feel sorry for her, despite all the cynicism of those years, although it's not at all certain that it would make sense, and it might even be a form of offense if she's actually doing great and it's just her style, so I couldn't allow myself to do it, only shows that I never want to see anything like that again.
So many profound thoughts... But in reality, she was probably buying reading material for her grandmother, who can't read about Kirkorov and Baskov on the internet.

She's talking, so everything is fine, she'll be okay.
