I don't like looking at landscapes for more than a few seconds; it gets tiring. But I do like interesting and impressive locations with a sense of scale or unusual details. 1 - 7. Post-apocalyptic, hmm. I like it. But the colors are too dull. 2 - 3. Generic. And not very appealing. 3 - 4. Another generic one. 4 - 6. Also generic, but at least the colors are pleasant, and it looks more fun. 5 - 9. A little more epicness/alienness/grandeur, and it would be perfect. 6 - 4. Something sketchy, unclear, with banal colors. 7 - 8. This is more like it; it looks epic. 8 - 5. Almost like 6, but minus one point for the foreground; in fact, it's not really a landscape. 9 - this is what I call a cool landscape. Very inspiring. I chose this one from a bunch of similar options after a long time. 10 - 5. Another typical landscape. 11 - 8. Approximately the same as 7.

Judging by the themes of the content submitted to the contests, one might think that it's not me who's the depressed mapmaker, but everyone else.
