But if Heroes of Might and Magic had these elements on top of all the good things it already has, wouldn't it just be even better? Eye candy amidst all the other great features, and an attempt to please the fans can't be a bad thing if you are one of those fans yourself.

That’s exactly what I’m saying – it would be better if there was a fan-service “husbando” character. But, for example, if I’m not the target audience for fan service, then it just annoys me. Like in Sword Art Online, it made me want to puke. So, fan service needs to be used carefully.
Moreover, I realize that Azazel is also very much a matter of personal taste, and some people might find him repulsive. But it just so happens that I am one of those who likes him; I enjoy that kind of thing.

Check out Mahoutsukai no Yome. It has an interesting plot with a great setting, and there are plenty of "husbands" to choose from.

Well, I don't know, I'm more than happy with my two husbands, and I have a pretty good list of games to play. But maybe sometime.

Finished watching O Maidens In Your Savage Season the other day.

The ending feels a bit rushed and somewhat unsatisfying, but overall it's a worthwhile watch. If you're a fan of school stories about adolescence and all the related quirks, I recommend it.
