No, definitely not.
I'm not in a hurry... Maybe my tournament will even be a winter one:rolleyes:

Барон "Vampires"
Отдай свои прошлые сны,
В сомненьях себя обрети,
В бешеном танце душа кружится!
Не думай, что будет потом,
Здесь и сейчас мы живем,
Стань хоть на миг сам собой, слышишь!
I didn't think that following tournament-related topics would be interesting for someone who isn't participating in the tournament. But I read this thread periodically, and it's interesting to follow the development of events, the tactics, and who is dominating whom :). In general, good luck to all of you, and may the strongest win!

According to preliminary data, the following players will advance to the semi-finals: Arandor and Pandora from the blue group :)
Lu41k and LeSHiJ-MaX from the red group. :)
Let's wait for the Arandor - Pandora match.
Ara, congratulations on the victory! But I have some complaints about the map; not everything was smooth. I ask the organizers to pay attention to this, as the map, as I see, is being used from tournament to tournament... Please contact me about this issue if you are interested.
So you will have a real opportunity to participate. In the meantime, I invite you to The Ninth Stage of the Van Kanigem Memorial Tournament.[/url]
Try your luck there for now :)
Can I participate, please?!
Arandor (Nature, blue) vs. Pandora (Life, red)
Arandor won
Map: Plains of Despair
Version: Armageddon's Blade
The game ended on day 2, week 4, month 1.
Arandor primary hero: Anium (ranger), hired Brook (druid)
at the end of the game:
Anium, General, level 20. Tactics 3, Attack, Defense, Leadership 4; Scouting 1; Warfare 3, Archery 5, Magic Resistance 1; Diplomacy, Treasurer, Nobility 1; Chaos Magic 1.
Brook, Demonologist, level 21. Nature Magic, Herbalism, Meditation 5, Summoning 4; Warfare 4; Death Magic, Occultism 2, Demonology 1; Life Magic, Resurrection 1.
Army: Elves - 131, Unicorns - 81, Water Elementals - 51, Magic Dragons - 33, Manticores - 12. + heroes.
Pandora
Valorin, General. Tactics, Attack, Defense 5, Leadership 4; Warfare 5, Melee 1; Scouting 2, Pathfinding 1.
Sonia, Archmage. Life Magic, Healing, Mysticism, Resurrection 5;
Warfare 2, Melee 3; Order Magic, Sorcery 1; Chaos Magic 2, Spellcaster 1; Nature Magic, Summoning 1.
Army: Squires - 440, Archers - 461, Pikemen - 214, Crusaders - 82, Angels - 30. + heroes.
The battle took place on grassy terrain, although the map was set in a snowy area.
Thanks to leadership, cunning, and Manticores, I managed to kill the enemy mage before he could cast any spells. The lack of a mage (and spells) on the opponent's side made the game easier for me. My tactics were more defensive than offensive (only the Manticores attacked, and they didn't return). The Water Elementals cast Quicksand in front of the Swordsmen and Pikemen, the Dragons fought the Angels, the Elves shot at approaching enemies, the Unicorns protected the heroes and managed to engage almost all enemy units in combat, and after the Archmage was killed, the Manticores attacked the Archers, Squires, and the enemy General. But the Manticores didn't last long; at that moment, all the enemy infantry were still on their territory, and they easily dealt with them.
I was also lucky with the Dragon Strength spell, which helped a lot in the battle against the Angels and Swordsmen, and the Phoenix Summoning spell, which continued the work started by the Manticores.)
I think that's all.
Thank you, Pandora, for the interesting game.

I didn't waste time... I just didn't have the time or the mood.
I played the map for the first time, and I didn't notice anything strange. It's a good map, not too big) you can play similar maps several times... but I won't play Heart of Winter again; it's too big, and it takes too long to play)
These are:
1 Arandor
2 Pandora
3 Lu41k
4 LeSHiJ-MaX
And thank you to all participants who took part in the first stage:smile01:
The next stage of our tournament will feature the following matches:
Match 1: Pandora:smile13: vs :smile13: Lu41k
Match 2: LeSHiJ-MaX:smile13: vs :smile13: Arandor
Only one player from each match will advance to the final.
Good luck to all players.:smile49: :smile49: :smile49:
Thanks for the support, Starhan!
It's a pity that I have to play against Leshy... I wanted to reach the finals with him!)))) Hehe
And I wanted to play against Luchik again, but now I don't know... But I'll try my best!
P.S. I just write all the skills (mastery) in writing as "kayfalom"."))
In the game between Pandora and Arandor on the map Plains of Despair,
a map error was detected (serious) on Pandora's side.
The 3rd-level dwelling cannot be captured, although the guards around it have been defeated.
A map check revealed that there was not enough free space for the Knight dwelling. It occupies a larger area than all other 3rd-level dwellings, and there was not enough space for a path to it (in my experience, this is the second case; the first was also with a Knight dwelling). A similar situation may occur on other maps, even those that have been checked. If a player encounters such a situation and believes that the Knights (or other units) could help in further progress, please stop the game and upload the save file as soon as possible.
P.S. For the second time in this tournament, Pandora's performance has provided good food for thought regarding the organization of competitions. THANK YOU:smile20: :smile20: :smile20:
