Yes, I did it in an unranked match against a P2P player, but I DID IT, the OTK combo works! Tomorrow, maybe I'll indulge in some masochism and try to compete in the Grand Prix. There's a chance they might mistake it for a standard Vengeance deck and concede (or crush me, because Vengeance sucks against Elana and Insects).
I wanted to attach a list of new maps and ask the experts if any of them are playable, but yesterday I waited for another meta report and realized that it's pointless.
At first, I thought he was just flying around randomly. But no, he was clearing my battlefield and didn't attack me directly until he had only one card left in his deck, buffing his units to ridiculous levels. I didn't even get angry; I just sat there, waiting for my topdeck, and laughed.
It’s so incredibly satisfying when your demonspawn bursts onto the battlefield and deals 22 damage to the enemy. More often than not, the enemy either dominates or just sits around waiting for Azazel to appear. Also, my cute little demon is currently in the rewards, so I’ve forgotten everything and am grinding like crazy.
Update: an even more amazing victory. Double Azazel! Yes, the one on the right has a Storm skill from Laura, and the one on the left just chilled out.
Ah, it's been about a month since I last logged into H6. I need to find a way to get back, at least to finish off the Master rank — about two thousand points left.
If only Gwent had the option to duel in arena mode — it would be priceless as a game for a tournament on HeroesWorld. Sure, the draft phase there is longer than in H7, but the actual matches never drag on. Plus, a wonderful seasonal mode has just started (you can't duel in it either, if I'm not mistaken) with 8 seconds per turn — just enough time to throw down your cardboard cards.
The outcome of this match determined whether I would advance to the final of Group A in the Grand Prix... I didn't overplay Elana, and I ran out of resources, so I had to win by bringing out Aegis on the 8th turn ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It's been a while since I used him to deal 10 damage in one hit; it was so nice to do it again. But my opponent wasn't happy at all; he played Albert and left the game with a disconnect.
By the way, I have a question: if anyone took the three recent globes from the Baron's shoulder, did they use them, and on whom? My choice was as follows: Laura (I like the map; she made a big contribution to the recent successes of the Vengi, although I like Yurets more, but he is already an animated hero), Tetra (a safe pick, used and will be used in various Rune decks, possibly infinite value), Elana (summons an amulet that the opponent will have to look at until the end of the game if they can't remove it). Of these, the animated Elana looks especially cool; I was even thinking of making a full set of them, since I still have four globes left...
And I can’t even make it to the final of Group B: < I think I have about five Globes, but I still don’t know what to use them for. Maybe I’ll wait for a new reprint of Azazel in the form of a legendary creature.
The animations are just some golden rain (smirk), and once in a thousand times, there's a wink. Besides, the cards either rotate out or simply fall out of the meta, and the only thing you can do with them is look at them in your collection. The alternative is to grind against various bugs and play in unlimited mode, but that's for those who like it.
Or penalize the garbage legions and grind them down to get more vials. I don't know, I approach animation with the principle of "It's a small thing, but it's nice."
I specifically updated the game and logged in to get globes, but I didn't play a single match. Consequently, I didn't "globe" anyone. I haven't even bought a globe with vials yet.
Or "globe" weak heroes and dust them to get more vials.
In this regard, I really like how they did it in Gwent. There, two different resources are responsible for crafting the card itself and its animation – shards and meteorite dust. When you dust a regular card and its animated version, you get exactly the same amount of shards; you just get some dust on top. The same applies to crafting. That is, dusting animated cards doesn't bring any additional benefit – it's better to dust a regular one, and keep the animated one if, of course, a certain animation doesn't annoy you.

A funny idea on how to make globes useful: introduce the ability to craft a leader from the gacha for a certain number of globes (let's say 3-5, or with an additional vial payment), provided that its set has already been rotated. But, knowing the developers – it's not going to happen in this universe.
In this case, cards either rotate out or simply become obsolete, and the only thing you can do with them is look at them in your collection.
Exactly! That's why if you have a lot of globes and don't know what to spend them on, you need to think and choose cards that you play right now and that you can still play in the future. And if it's not even certain that you will play them yourself, then it doesn't make sense at all, unless you just want to log in and admire your collection of cards.
Or spend globes on bad legendaries and disenchant them to get more vials.
In fact, this is selling globes for vials, and you spend not only globes but also a legendary card, the crafting cost of which (in case it becomes viable someday?) is 1000 more than what you get from such a transaction. It's not a very profitable exchange, it might only work in an extreme situation, the probability of which is even more doubtful than the usefulness of globes, which in turn also reduces their usefulness :smile32:
Vish has a good idea, I wouldn't be against it at all... Perhaps such a move could even encourage former players to return for the leader they wanted but didn't get. However, for Cygames to start giving away gacha characters like that, things would have to be really bad for them, and such a situation is possible if the game itself becomes a complete disaster that no one wants to spend money on, but at that stage, it probably wouldn't help anymore...
