I specifically updated the game and logged in to get globes, but I didn't play a single match. Consequently, I didn't "globe" anyone. I haven't even bought a globe with vials yet.
Or "globe" weak heroes and dust them to get more vials.
In this regard, I really like how they did it in Gwent. There, two different resources are responsible for crafting the card itself and its animation – shards and meteorite dust. When you dust a regular card and its animated version, you get exactly the same amount of shards; you just get some dust on top. The same applies to crafting. That is, dusting animated cards doesn't bring any additional benefit – it's better to dust a regular one, and keep the animated one if, of course, a certain animation doesn't annoy you.

A funny idea on how to make globes useful: introduce the ability to craft a leader from the gacha for a certain number of globes (let's say 3-5, or with an additional vial payment), provided that its set has already been rotated. But, knowing the developers – it's not going to happen in this universe.
