“To my brother Alonso and my mother Talia,
Since April, I’ve been studying at the Imperial Military Academy, and I couldn’t be happier with where I’ve ended up. I’ve never had such interesting and talented classmates, or such caring and dedicated teachers…
I’ve made a friend here. Although you know me, I sometimes find it difficult to connect with people, but I’m willing to do a lot for her if needed.
I’m learning to fight with a rifle, studying engineering, and medicine – in short, I’m trying not to miss anything important in modern warfare. And they also train us physically very well – next time, I’ll be able to open that jar for you, Mom!
I’m a little worried about the news. But it’s nothing, because now I’ll be on my guard; it’s precisely because of the various dangers that I enrolled in the academy.
How are you, and how is Alik doing? I remember the boys used to tease him in class; I even tried to talk to them. Are they still teasing him? And how is he doing with math? Is he still as talented? I love him very much, and I don’t let the thought of him leave my mind here at the academy, because these thoughts help me to concentrate and work harder.
My arm hardly hurts anymore. Everything is fine. We receive a good scholarship, so I’m enclosing one hundred Rumian coins with this letter. Mom, buy Alik some sweets with them.
Love, Mia.”
I'll be available later in the evening. If anything comes up, I'll be at the results announcement in the shooting range (as far as I understand, it's free).
(Sometime during the first week of August) Parfinora, eager for knowledge, wasn't satisfied with just tutoring sessions with Moriner and knocked on other doors again – this time, on Murray Mainz's door. She chose him specifically because the president hoped to learn something about the mysterious newcomer. "Hello, Murray," she smiled at him. "We've been studying together for a few months now, but we haven't really talked. Would you mind helping me with weapon training? And maybe you could tell me a little about yourself."
Where do we go? Where do we end up when we save the world?
The main part of the festival is coming to an end.
Azarina discussed the latest News from Larian with Shiris; they talked about politics and newly available technologies. In addition, she learned that after the competition for the right to represent the academy, Shiris will have to return home to Larian due to the current political climate. Azarina spent the second half of the day with Mariarina; they got along well and had a good time. Mariarina also shared beauty secrets with Azarina.
Relgar spent his time doing what he loved most – drawing. Of course, as always, he drew beautiful girls, images of whom he had formed in his mind. All of this was, of course, to the disapproval of his parents, who came to see the academy in the second half of the day.
Anelotta spent the whole day in the cafeteria. If she had friends or a boyfriend, they would have definitely noticed that she was starting to gain weight.
To the mocking amusement of those around him, Ifeon spent the day with his mother. They didn't talk about serious topics and just walked around the academy and the park.
Light wandered around the academy for the first half of the day and couldn't find a place for himself. The abundance of people and the noise were getting on his nerves, and in the second half of the day, Berwang started bothering him too...
Evriala, to the surprise of Shogo, agreed to take a walk with him in the park. Perhaps she thought she would catch the guy off guard, but the opposite happened: the student took the initiative and behaved surprisingly gentlemanly.
As a reward for their efforts and demonstrated skill, Bertrand, Reila, and Engar receive the Mars rifle (a special version of the Z23). Accuracy: 70%-50% Range: 10-18 Damage: 35 Number of shots: 6 Suppressive fire: 3 Weight: 3.0 Size: 1x6

According to a long-standing tradition, this evening the classes built bonfires, each their own, and gathered around them to discuss the day and continue the fun in the company of their comrades. When it came to dancing, the students of class III turned out to be unable to take the initiative, and at the moment, only Shogo was an exception, who, although not very skillfully, danced very confidently with their class leader.
The following were free and, perhaps, although not necessarily, bored at the moment: - Moriner - Linnea - Parfinora - Latro - Xenomia - Bertrand - Marey - Eli - Azarina - Berwang - Relgar - Anelotta - Ifeon - Light - Imir
