Beauty that you want to share. Auto-translated

Hey guys.
I don’t really like tails like that, to be honest. I prefer long ones, closer to snake-like, without knees. That’s how I draw them in my mermaid art. Or even without tails at all, haha.

Some Chinese guy. Whatever resolution is available. The legendary Unit 731 and other reasons why the Chinese love the Japanese: There are also Germans, but there are a lot of swastikas there; I don't know how to handle that... So, here are the links: https://i.ibb.co/MGVXWxk/IMG-5928.jpg https://i.ibb.co/4Wpsnbc/IMG-5927.jpg And here are the Prussians and Austro-Hungarians from World War I. And the English, also from there. Miscellaneous.

Tormund, go back to your family!

And yes, we're waiting for Game of Thrones Brotherhood, when the manga is finally finished.

Just some catgirls.

And also a few Dungeon creatures.

Dagon, Shadowverse edition.

A cute guy with glasses.

And another resident of my harem ❤️

You guys aren't posting enough pictures of beautiful girls without me.
So, here's Clivenzu:

Clivenzu, part 2 (Too many pictures on one page – it’s bad. My browser freezes ;) ) (What was she doing there? Well, never mind, you know I’m bloodthirsty, so this doesn’t bother me) Bonus for Koshi:

Well, personally, I don't care about pretty girls, and I collect pretty boys in my own collection.
But thanks for the bonus.

Here's another great artist – Anton Lomaev, a prominent figure in Russian book cover art of the 90s and early 2000s, and still active today. I just found a few classic fairy tales with his illustrations: Here are some examples of the pages: Here you can Download some of them in PDF format: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kgroln78dzqzned/%D0%9A%D1%80%D0%B0%D1%81%D0%BD%D0%B0%D1%8F%20%D0%A8%D0%B0%D0%BF%D0%BE%D1%87%D0%BA%D0%B0.pdf?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/z3czbcznghfqwd8/%D0%9A%D0%BE%D1%82%20%D0%B2%20%D0%A1%D0%B0%D0%BF%D0%BE%D0%B3%D0%B0%D1%85.pdf?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/ffy8fp7c6w3ve74/%D0%93%D0%B0%D0%B4%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9%20%D0%A3%D1%82%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%BE%D0%BA.pdf?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/34ngroam5wpo82v/%D0%A0%D1%83%D1%81%D0%B0%D0%BB%D0%BE%D1%87%D0%BA%D0%B0.pdf?dl=0

And continuing the theme of fairy tales:

And a little more:

Get ready to die from cuteness, because here is Alvia! And she also has an Instagram, Twitter, and other scary things.

More cuteness at the links at the beginning.
Yes, she is my acquaintance, so I'm inviting you to check her out, and not just randomly posting something from who knows where, as I usually do.

A very ancient evil

There is no God, and Nyarlathotep is its prophet.

Silence in the library!

Grigory Efimovich, we miss you so much...

We miss you too.

Robert Howard, "The Children of the Earth"

I don't know if many people are aware that the two Howards – Lovecraft and the author of the long-suffering Conan – corresponded and referenced each other in some of their stories.
But here, the reference is not so much to Lovecraft as to his predecessor and idol, Arthur Machen (specifically, "The Black Seal").

The story (in Howard's "The Children of the Earth") is about a Pictish chieftain who seeks revenge on the Romans and turns to a people that the Picts themselves once drove from their lands, and then from the surface of the earth altogether.
It's a normal story, in general; in Russian folklore, this is called "the white-eyed people went underground."
But with Howard, this is not a metaphor for the genocide of indigenous peoples – they really went underground and became something completely different, something that even the Romans cannot withstand...
It's a good story, overall.

Understood. Fanfiction about Lovecraft and Conan was being written even before the genre became a haven for slash fiction about Kirk and Spock. Moreover, they and their friends were the ones who wrote most of it.
