New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
It seems that the tournament will be held using Fresh Mod. The game proceeds regardless of whether both players or only one of them have it enabled. This raises the following question: If, during the game, say around turn 115, one of the players realizes that they forgot to enable the mod, what actions should the players take: 1) Continue the game as is. 2) Replay the game with the mod enabled. 3) The player who forgot to enable the mod receives a technical defeat. If the first option is chosen, then there is no point in making the use of the mod mandatory, but rather optional for each player.

The mod usually improves the game's speed. From a speed perspective, if you forget to include Fresh Mod, you will receive ordinary Wyverns and Angels in conservatories. This could reduce your speed of acquiring a battle stack and slow you down. My assumption for now is that the game will continue.
Also, you can't predict which castle pair it will be before joining. So, if you forgot to turn on Fresh Mod, you can get stuck in a situation with 3 hives on respawn and a strong GO. In the case of Efreeti, it's painful, but still possible to overcome, but with unupgraded wyverns, it's a complete disaster. The only castles that are weakened with Fresh Mod are Necro and Conflux, so the probability of getting them is low.
TL;DR. I'm considering the 1st variant for now.

The game works regardless of whether both players or only one of them have it enabled.

One more idea came to my mind. I suppose that fresh mod don't changes the saves. So, if one player forgot to include mod, he will receive angels/wywerns instead of 6-7 native troops. In this case he has two options:
1. Continue game as is.
2. To load BATTLE save with mod included. He could lose some seconds, but actually this happened due to his fault, so everything is fair.
What do you think?

When will the draw be?
