The Count or Lograine will find out – we’ll lose our heads.
Where do we end up when we save the world?
New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?

The guards initially laughed, but then gave a serious answer – it’s better to ask Dorness about such questions.
— He is the owner of this tavern and a famous warrior in the past.
Mirna also smiled and thanked the guards. Then she decided to take a closer look at the arena, just like that fighter did (she nodded thoughtfully if their eyes met). I wonder why he's really here.
If she doesn't find anything particularly interesting and no one else starts talking to her, she goes to the tavern.

— Hmm, — the man carefully examined the remains of the dead beast, — I must admit, there are almost no practical uses for such an item, and its condition leaves much to be desired. I understand this may sound disappointing, but if you don't believe me, you can ask around the market; I doubt anyone would want to buy it. However, if you plan to become a regular customer of my shop, I can buy everything from you for, say, 20 silver coins.
The tavern owner turned out to be a grim-looking man.
I'll buy it.
Although this response wasn't a surprise to her, after what Chios had said, Abigail frowned.
"It's strange, in the previous town, they offered me a better price," the warrior murmured in surprise. "I thought they would offer even more in the capital, but it seems not. Are you sure you haven't made any mistakes?"
"With such prices for lodging, he's unlikely to give advice for free... However, I can spare 3 silver coins for that."
She repeated her question to the tavern owner.
The tavern keeper took a long piece of black cloth from a drawer and handed it to Mirna. — Put this on.
— Liskyv. They offered about thirty silvers for the hide, — the girl lied without batting an eye. — I didn’t ask why. Maybe they wanted to make a stuffed animal out of it. Maybe boots. I didn’t bother to find out.
But this was beyond the usual. Mirna examines the fabric and figures out how to wear it best (should she blindfold her?), if that even makes sense. If she doesn’t understand, she asks what it is.
Dornesh gestures, indicating that she needed to tie her eyes.
He ties the rope and prepares for the worst. Will he strike? Will he strike hard? Will he kill her on the spot if she doesn't dodge? Well, she needs to learn to make such small sacrifices if she ever wants to become a hero.
— Deal, — the girl agreed after a slight pause, as if considering it.
After Mirna tied a cloth over her eyes, someone approached her.
“Follow them and don’t try anything,” Dorness said monotonously, “or instead of getting an answer to your question, you’ll get a problem.”
