Posts from DISCUSSIONS on “Rules for online games in HoMM3 and formulas for calculating player rating.”
I have a question about the tournament rules; I'm not sure if it's been discussed before, but I couldn't find the answer in the first couple of posts.
There's a rule:
"
2. Permitted actions, prohibitions, and restrictions
2.1.1. On all maps except those of size XL+U, "red-rush" is prohibited: the player playing as red is not allowed to attack on the first day of the week with reinforcements (i.e., troops that appeared at the beginning of the new week in the dwellings of the player's cities (towns) or in cities (towns) captured on that day from a human or computer opponent) or purchased on that day:
a) on a blue castle (even if the castle is not guarded);
b) on blue heroes or guarded mines, if the presence of reinforcements can affect the outcome of the battle or losses in the battle for either player.
"
Does this apply to artifacts?
P.S.
The situation was as follows:
First day, I'm red (I go first).
In the artifact shop in the wizard castle, the missing ring for the elixir appears (it was exactly on this first day that the artifacts were updated!).
I collect the artifact and, on the same turn, attack and win. This artifact significantly increased my advantage!
In my opinion, this is allowed.
But I would like to know the opinion of the experienced players.

I suggest unifying the rule that prohibits bypassing shifted guards at passages – it should apply to all map templates without exception.
Whether it's a computer-controlled opponent or not doesn't matter.

And I also noticed that at this link http://heroes3stat.appspot.com/rating, I have played 258 games, but in this ranking, there is one game less - 257.

The number of games is actually 258 in both rankings, meaning that the total is simply calculated incorrectly in this ranking.
