You come home from office work and watch a series about office life Actually, it's good, not annoying. Sometimes I even laughed out loud. Overall, it's a decent alternative to staring at a wall.
Небо – мольбы не ждёт Небо – угроз не слышит Небо – ведёт особый счёт Небо – тебя найдёт
Kid on a roll Liked: a couple of good characters, decent sound design, a good ending. Disliked: the plot is generally a bit dull, the main character and his girlfriend are also a bit dull (especially the fact that the main character revealed himself and de-anonymized himself everywhere he could), some moments contain clichés and silliness. Overall, it's quite watchable with a beer and some chips in the evening. Is it necessary? No. But it's definitely worth watching. 6.5/10
Deadpool 2 Well, with fewer jokes below the belt, it would have been a film on par with the best Marvel movies. But still, to be fair, there are quite a few good jokes. As well as a decent plot and interesting characters: especially Peter!
First player, get ready A remarkably spectacular and beautiful film, definitely not boring. The characters are pleasant, and the world of the future is interesting. There are a few inconsistencies in the game and in real life, but they don't stand out too much. The avatars of the main characters are unappealing... Especially the girl's. 7.5/10
Love and Death (USA, 1975) I wanted to watch Woody Allen, and I found this. It has a high rating, and the theme is the Great Patriotic War. Well, why not? Absurdism. Trash and absurdism. From the very first scene. The author is clearly familiar with Russian prose, Tolstoy and Dostoevsky, but everything is wrapped in absurdism mixed with a la Chaplin. There's a lot of crude humor. But still, it's somehow captivating... Some things I want to put in a quote:
The main thing is not to get too worked up, or you'll knock your brains out, and then you'll read in the newspaper that the meaning of life has been found.
11 Ocean's Friends It's a shame I didn't see this movie sooner. Charismatic, beautiful, with at least one major plot twist – a worthy predecessor to "Now You See Me". 7.5/10
It's a real disappointment. There isn't enough content. Overall, it's pretty good, but it lacks the charm of "Futurama." It feels a bit bland, and the focus is more on the plot than on humor. 7/10.
I rewatched it for the third or fourth time. I really like this cartoon. It's formulaic, but the way the plot is structured and the characters interact makes it less noticeable. It's very warm and kind, moderately sad, and touching. I love watching it when I'm in a bad mood. 10/10. Perhaps the best Disney cartoon after "WALL-E".
Watched it based on Ment's recommendation. Didn't share his enthusiasm, but wasn't disappointed either. Decided to watch the reboot right away and not bother with the original. + Interesting plots, there were some really strong moments, overall it reminded me of "Stargate" for some reason. - None of the characters resonated with me, and at the end, there were too many questions and too few answers. = 7/10, a decent cartoon for a couple of evenings, but it didn't inspire me.
And yes, I'm deliberately continuing to write about Chinese porn cartoons in the general thread because I'm a tolerant person and everything is the same to me.
Not a bad movie to watch over a couple of evenings, but it didn't inspire me.
Because the original is better...
"Venom" Overall, I like that they're making "serious" movies based on Marvel, like Logan and Venom. They certainly look very different. However, I must say that Venom won't please us with its originality (spoiler): Do you remember the plot of the first part, hmm, of almost any Marvel superhero story? Iron Man, Captain America, Ant-Man, Black Panther? Yes, the villain gains powers similar to the hero, and he needs to be stopped to save the world. Well, maybe just save Uganda. But still, it's in that spirit. And it's the same here... Another downside is that Spider-Man, or even direct mentions of him, were not included. This doesn't benefit the story – Venom runs around with eyes that look like Spider-Man's mask, but how that happened, and why there's this similarity, is unclear. There were also positive aspects. I liked how Eddie was portrayed, the social situation also looks quite good, and the overall atmosphere of a non-superhero movie, which I mentioned, is also a plus. 6.5/10
I'm not sure I'll want to watch the original. The essence is the same, the characters are the same. Maybe the presentation will be better, but I don't think it will make me love the heroes.
