Van, undoubtedly, 4 phoenixes will defeat 2 archangels, and 2,000 phoenixes will defeat 1,000 archangels... But the 4vs2 victory is only due to regeneration... I don't know what rules govern the regeneration of phoenixes, but the more of them there are, the less effective the regeneration is (I mean, for one stack).

Firstly, on higher difficulties, you won't be able to build them in the first week. And secondly, they are very useless in many cases (for example, when taking a castle). They have low speed, and flying units are generally better.
Ancient Horrors (they sound silly, like Behemoths) are the most unbalanced monsters. If you compare them within the context of the entire game, and not in a 1v1 duel, they are the STRONGEST. Although, more accurately, they are the most... overpowered. You can get a Horror on day 6-7 (if the option for level 6 is enabled - on level 7) of the first week. This says a lot. Firstly, it means easy clearing of all mines, wells, etc. And secondly, it provides a real opportunity to defeat 1-2 opponents, as you will have the strongest army (I don't know who, besides the Horrors themselves, can beat you). I don't know who would argue with that. And 1v1 is nonsense, as it rarely happens in a real battle, so why compare it?)))
This is all, of course, just my IMHO - but my IMHO is not just four letters on a white background.

They are easily built and can be used at 200%, and in my list, they are number 2 - after archers...
and the Imps are very poorly protected; most often, they don't help in a battle against a human rushing - birds are more effective.
Are you saying that 3 Imps can easily defeat, say, 22 Grand Elves?
But sometimes, after a hero casts a spell, the Archon gets blinded, so the Angel flies past. Also, it's not a given that you'll be able to dispel the spell while playing as a Priest against a Warlock.
