Just for fun (and because I've already played it), I used a semi-meme-y Mysterian deck. You know, the one with Mysteria and a bunch of damage spells. I encountered a guy playing Tenkai. The battle was long. What ultimately defeated him was that he banned my Ozka twice... On purpose. He even reduced her health to three one time just to ban her. So paranoid, it's ridiculous. Apparently, he was triggered by the lord's icon, but reading the card's properties is apparently too much to ask. This guy is already in S-rank, so he should know better. Although, maybe he's never seen Ozka in his life.

Sometimes I would ban her using Dimrift.

Maybe he didn’t have any other removals?

He had Tenka on the table and a healing amulet. And a bunch of cards in his hand. Hard to believe.

I hadn't planned on doing this, and at the beginning of the month, I didn't even think I'd go for Grandmaster. However, noticing that I was doing well and that I had enough time, I decided to give it a shot this time and grind. It took me a total of 8 days (but I had already gained about 2.5K before the serious grind). I reached 7K using different decks, with the most successful being the Sword Coast decks, although I also regularly got win streaks with other decks. The funniest thing was when I had a 70% win rate in the log for a silly ramp deck without any win conditions, except maybe Canyon x). After reaching 7K, I got stuck there for a couple of days... Perhaps the nerfs had an impact; I needed to figure out how to optimize the decks. In the end, I switched to aggro forest and puppet portal and grinded to 9K with them. Today, I got a daily quest for Sword Coast, so I gained the last thousand points with it.

I passed the trials on the first try, losing in the mirror match first, then winning against the puppet portal, and then in another mirror match.

Probably my most challenging qualification in Arena: 2-3 with Neutral-Forest, 2-3 with Mid-Shadow, 3-2 with Mouse-Blood, 3-2 with Aggro-Forest, and finally, after 5 attempts, 4-1 with the good old Storm-Haven. I should have picked it from the start, but I thought it wasn't that relevant anymore. However, in the last run, there were no Aggro-Decks, which could have ended differently. And in the run with Aggro-Forest, it could have ended better if I hadn't foolishly traded for the Insect Lord for tempo into a 2/2 Trooper instead of holding onto it. After that, the opponent played Frog - Evo - Kunoichi - Evo - Julia + Quickblade.

the good old Stronghold. I should have taken it right away, but I thought it wasn't that relevant anymore.

Once you encounter a Rune, you'll immediately remember why it's not relevant and why you shouldn't take it in this mode.

There were two runes in this game. One didn't show the kaleidoscope at all, and the other showed one, but it didn't save it from dying on turn 6 or 7. I guess I was just lucky.
I didn't expect a serious result with the Priest, I just took it to try it out for a ticket, and I was planning to take the last free try with the Aggro deck tomorrow, but suddenly something worked out.

I have a 4-1 record with Aggro Mage and Vengeance-Blood, and a 3-2 record with Aggro Dragon and Mysterian Rune. I think there were other matches, but I'm not sure.

I tried it two or three times, even in the first unlimited GP, and each time I failed, either because of the roaches, or because of the agro, or because of the runes, which helpfully bounced all my air units.
