I really enjoyed Morrowind, but then I lost my save file... It was a shame.
But at least Vivec will never be destroyed.

I've played Oblivion for at least a hundred hours, and Skyrim probably for around a thousand.

I'm still playing through Morrowind.

Morrowind is probably the best part of the series in terms of plot and atmosphere. The following two installments are significantly worse in this regard. However, its gameplay is quite flawed.

It seems to me that the scrolls, as a series, don't really aim for a good plot or atmosphere.

Moor is the best game in the series, solely because of the mushroom houses. I found it too DIFFICULT; I play games to relax.

I think that the Scrolls games, as a series, don't really aim for good stories or atmosphere.

However, the atmosphere is the main appeal of the series for many players. The world is quite interesting and unusual. It's just that in the last two parts, there is significantly less emphasis on the unusual and interesting aspects, in contrast to Morrowind. And there's really nothing to say about the plots.

It seemed too DIFFICULT to me.

Only at the beginning, when you constantly miss with weapons (you need to invest better in the appropriate weapon and stat when creating a character, so that it's bearable).
Then it becomes easy.
In my opinion, Morwind is worse than Skyrim in terms of atmosphere (much worse), but I agree that the plot is better than in Skyrim. There are a lot of guilds, a lot of guild quests, everything is so epic and branched, it was cool.

considering the adjustable difficulty levels, it's hard to imagine any significant problems. even now, in the add-on, there are almost none, although the monsters there can overwhelm me and have already done so (difficulty slider set to the middle).

in Oblivion, the atmosphere is only present in the cities.
