Because Delia would have been shot down before Emma could cast Mirror Image on her, and this way, they were forced to focus their attacks on a relatively harmless character, delaying the death of someone else. However, I'm now thinking that under Mirror Image, she might have summoned someone strong. And in that case, if she hadn't been shot down after passing the Will save (and I don't think the archers have absolutely no Willpower), we might have prolonged the fight. Theoretically.
