I qualified for the Grand Prix final on my second try, this time with Summit Haven, with a score of 4-1. To be honest, I don't really like the current trendy Summit Haven playstyle; it's some kind of high-roll midrange, and I think pure control is much more interesting. Well, maybe it will come back if Summit is nerfed; I would only be happy about that. My first attempt was with Portal, but I was unlucky and ran into two Forests with endless Brambles and other things, so it was 3-2. Although one of them could have won if Sapphire had come up in hand, but alas. However, there was another interesting moment in that match. My personal Sapphire record; I didn't quite reach Loken's level, but that's okay. Even with Accelerators in hand, I still wouldn't have cleared the board on that turn, so a topdeck Sapphire and straight to the face. A good ending to a long series of artifact plays; it was round 15, I think. The number of Shadows on both sides is encouraging; I wish Purgatory was here. P.S. Prime was destroyed 6 times. Mordekai left me for an unlimited game :( And I don't want to join, so I have to make do with what I have.

What's with everyone disliking the unlimited mode so much? It's a perfectly fine mode. There's no blood everywhere. If you don't mind playing with "Tarakan," lol. But seriously, I play unlimited mode almost as often as I play the rotation. It's easier (and cheaper) to build a deck there, and my old friends are with me ("Tarakan" and "Dishift," yeah), and the balance feels better.

In the rotation, blood is also not in a bad position.
