And now I’ll check out that double door.
Alaria sees a small pool filled with blood before her; in its center stands a strange sculpture – an elongated arm with an open palm. Piles of bones are scattered around, and on the opposite wall hangs a painting protected by thick glass.

Barely remembering his old habits, he makes the sign of the cross and checks the left chess room.

Ment
Is she conscious? If not, I'm trying to bring her back. Well, I'm attempting to.
The camelid's attempts are futile.

Looks like you need an amulet for that. And a sphere in your hand.
My sword, my trusted ally, unphased by my aspect.

Just to clarify, the loss of consciousness didn't occur while attempting to enter the selected room, but directly in the chess room.
The camelid, grunting and sweating, drags the tanar in to her room.
Alaria regains consciousness when the camelid carries her out of the chess room.

It seemed to me that spheres were like a currency.
