Posts from Question about the map "Empire of the World".
Pomazok1329 No upgrades, and no places to replenish troops; artifacts are only obtained in battle. That is, all conditions are in place for a fair fight, and not for roaming the map to "replenish mana" or complete a quest.
Regarding places to replenish troops, do cities count or not? There are maps where you cannot build troop-producing structures; you can only replenish your army in a couple of places on the map.
Or, alternatively, only quests could provide troops, meaning you only get troop increases in the castle.
Take a look at these maps:
We take a long time to build up, but then we are actively attacked.
Here's a map I created.
Thank you for the maps, I'm trying them out.
Here's a map I drew.I just want to ask: How do I make the enemy attack me? He just sits in his Castle and only attacks if I pass by with a small army. I would like him to head straight for my Castle. If he dies, a hero with the same characteristics as me is born in the enemy city, but with a larger army, and attacks again. How do I "program" this?
1. The enemy can attack when he feels that he is stronger or when he has no Castles and he might lose (but not always).
It seems impossible to force him to attack. But the new AI is being rewritten for VCMI (a new engine, so to speak, which hasn't been released yet).
2. I know that there is even a script where your opponent is a complete mirror image (army, mana, characteristics, etc.), I saw something similar in WoG, in the "Samaritan" Campaign.
If you really want to, you can do something like that, but you need to ask for scripts on the WoG forum
Pomazok1329, where do you find Polish maps? Do you read any Polish forums or even participate in discussions there? National player communities (like the German one) often discuss interesting locally produced maps, but when there are no English versions, it can be quite difficult to understand which ones are good, how to complete them, and automatic translation in browsers (especially with a large number of errors, typos, and abbreviations in messages) often produces text that is hard to understand.

I sorted them all by size because usually, if a map is large, it also has a plot, events, and is generally interesting... almost 95% of the first 100 maps made it into the "best" collection. So, I didn't specifically look for them.
But there is a Polish forum, and if you want, I think you can find a lot of interesting things there in terms of maps.

But in reality, Polish maps (like Polish shooters about World War II) don't impress with their quality or interesting new features, so the above is more of an exception to the rule.
I haven't played recently, but as far as I remember:
1. You won't be able to defeat the Titan Master anytime soon; he will appear later, when the brown faction comes after the Barbarians.
2. You get the blood vial from the Drakon King, and he appears even later. In my opinion, the battle with the Dragon King is one of the most difficult on this map (maybe only Merlin and the Inferno boss are a bit harder).
You get 225 gold Dragons for the blood vial.
Regarding Genghis Khan, try using the "walk on water" ability; it's very useful on this map.
Hello, can you help me with the next steps?
I've defeated everyone except the green faction. The lower left corner of the Dungeon map is still unexplored. The Dragon King, Inferno, and others have been defeated. All quests have been completed, except for the one about the God of Air. I didn't defeat him; he disappeared on his own. The hut where I was supposed to kill him says that I haven't done it (so I conclude that this is a secondary quest). Here, they mention artifacts of diplomacy; I have them, but I don't understand where to take them and what to do next.
Also, I haven't found the armor for the Alliance of Angels yet
If so, you have 2 options:
a) Try to continue with an incomplete spellbook and without a town portal. Unfortunately, there's a high chance that you'll find yourself unable to progress because you need to go back, and this can only be done with a town portal, which you haven't obtained yet. In this case, move on to the next option:
b) Start playing the map again in "Complete Collection" or "Death and Decay."
Remember: in WoG and HotA, you should play either maps created specifically for these versions or purely strategic maps from previous versions, where there are no restrictions or mandatory quests involving guardians, seers, keymaster tents, etc. But never play maps from the RoE/AB/SoD versions in WoG or HotA! These are the maps where you have predetermined heroes, paths, quests, etc.
Just in case (if everything is as I assumed, and you're new to the game), I'll add: to run the regular "Heroes 3," you don't need to download or install anything extra: you already have it; you just need to run the Heroes3.exe file in the game folder (if you have the HD mod, you need to specify/select which version to run through it).
And I'll also add that I've definitely put both parts of "Empire of the World" on my list of things to play in the near future.
